Maybe This Time

Part 23

Its been a few weeks since our argument.

Hindi pa rin kami masyado naguusap. Only about our son.

Andito kami ngayon sa condo ng pamilya Marcos as it was talked about initially, we would stay here every weekend.

Mostly mom and pops goes with Sandro. So we we never got the chance to be alone. Aba buti naman ang akward na nga na andto sila mom and pops. Hindi pa ako ready kami lang dalawa.

It was dinner time I was beside Sandy and mommy liza. Across us was Sandro and pops

"Iha i heard you got a new job, hows it working for you?" Pops asked

"Its lovely pops, thank you for the recommendation" i smiled at him since sya ang ngrecommend sa akin it was a block away from our condo so i dont have to travel far it was owned by a family friend of theirs. Ang dami talaga nilang connections but im so thankful for it since its near Sandy

"Your welcome iha" pops smiled at me

"I still wish we could all stay in Ilocos" tita liza said

I kept quiet since I really didnt know what to say.

"Mom" Sandro looked at his mother

We kept quiet for the remainder of dinner.

After dinner Sandy was irritable hindi kasi napatulog nung hapon. I excused Sandy and I para mapatulog ko na sya. Sa pagpapatulog ko kay Sandy nakatulog na rin ako

Nagising ako bigla at chineck ko ang oras. It was 2 am on my phone. Nagbanyo ako at sinubukan kunin uli ang tulog ko. Almost 30 minutes na paikot ikot lang sa kama I gave up at bumangon na lng ako pra uminom ng tubig.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at dumiretso na sa kusina. Naisip ko na hindi muna bumalik ng kwarto at tumambay sa balcony. We were at the penthouse so the view was amazing. Magdedecember na rin kaya ang dami ng pailaw at kitang kita eto from our balcony.

Hindi ko alam kng gaano ako katagal na andoon. Nasira lang ang pag mumuni muni ko nung narinig ko na parang may nagbubukas ng pinto

Napaisp ako si Manang ba yun? Or si Mang Ambo?

Lumabas ako para tignan.

Nagulat ako nung nakita ko ang secretary ni Sandro, si mon at si Arby na akay akay ang isang lasing na Sandro

"Ano nangyare jan?!" I looked at them

His secretary looked at me na parang kala mo inaaway ko, at ang ikli ikli ng suot. Jusko naman!

Arby and Mon looked wasted but Sandro, Sandro hindi ko madescribe dahil hindi ko na alam kng may malay pa siya.

Nilapag siya ni Arby sa sofa.

He was mumbling words I cant even comprehend.

Ano ba naman eto iinom inom... hindi naman pala kaya.

Lumapit ang secretarya niya saknya.

I blocked her hand bago pa nya mahawakan

" I think I can handle it from here Mariella" aba hindi lang siya ang kaya makipag tarayan dito

She looked at me shocked but pulled away. Good girl.

I asked them all to sleep here since they look drunk but Mang Ambo woke up baka dahil na rin sa ingay and he volunteered to drive them

"Ayaw po ni Mam liza na may ibang tao dito nang biglaan doctora" he whisphered to me and I agreed

Once they left I looked at Sandro on the couch.
I cant leave him like this.. its already 3 am nararamdaman ko na rin antok ko

I got a wet towel and wiped his arms and then proceeded to wipe his  mouth.

I help him up at inakay siya sa banyo sa may kwarto nya. Halos matumba tumba na kaming dalawa. I put down the lid on the toilet and asked him to sit while I got his tooth brush.

"Hi mommy!!! Yeww lewkk so prettyyy" he said in a slurred speech.
  Napailing na lang ako bakit ba kasi naglasing toh..

I preceeded to brush his teeth and wash his face.

Inakay ko nman sya papunta sa kama. At tinanggal ko na ang pangtaas nya.

I preceeded to remove his belt from his pants when he suddenly grabbed my hand.

I looked at him but his eyes was close

"Hey! Dont toouccch me, Im for Eli only" he said

I smiled at this.. wow loyal.. cute he still has his british accent

God this man..

Hindi ko na tinanggal ang belt nya at hiniga na sya sa kama at kinumutan.

Nung tumatayo na ako sa kama he suddenly scooted over to me and layed his head on my lap and hugged my waist and suddenly I couldnt move

"Dont leave me love.. dont leave me"  he said

Was he sobbing?? I wasnt sure but I decided to just stay with him and let sleep take me.

I woke up lying flat on his bed.

Alam ko hindi ako natulog ng ganito.

I sat up and I looked around the room and Sandro was nowhere to be found.

I layed back down again and heard the bathroom door opened and saw Sandro

He looked tired and judging from his appearance
Mukhang nagsuka siya.

I got up and went to him

"Eli you dont have to" he said weakly

Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin and I guided him to bed

"Please rest and lie down" i said to him sternly

He looked like a kid, he did what he was told.
I got a bucket kung sakaling magsuka siya ulit.

I got my prescription pad from my room at ngpabili kay Mang Ambo ng nga IV fluids at medications.

I stayed by his side naawa na ako at baka madehydrate nya siya sa kakasuka

Nung dumating si Mang Ambo I prepared what I needed to start his IV fluid

"I hate needles" he grumbled weakly and was fighting me off.

Naawa na ako sa sknya at the same time frustrated kasi inaantok pa ako

"Please love trust me" i said without thinking. Hindi ko na siya matignan after that pero pumayag na rin sya mgpalagay ng IV line

After it was done.

"Sleep, Il take care of you" i said to him he then laid his head on my lap and dose off

My sweet frustratingly gorgeous boy
