Part 24

After his drunken night, well syempre nakarinig ng marami kay mom at kay pops

Nakakatawa na lang kasi para siyang batang pinapagalitan.

I didnt wait for him to wake up the next day since I was on duty.

I sent one of the nurses to check on him while i was at work.

"doctora okay naman po si hubby niyo, pinatanggal niya na ho ang swero niya" the nurse reported to me while I was doing rounds.

the other nurses at the station looked at me.

"he's not my husband"i said

"sorry doc, kamukhang kamukha kasi ng anak niyo.. pero siya ang daddy? and you live together?... hindi ba complicado yun? Ang laki ng condo nyo doc, penthouse pa talaga ang shala".... bakit ba matanung toh?..

"uhm., were co- parenting" i simply said and walked away from the station.. why does it have to be awkward. we have a complicated set up. .. i know.. Sumakit tuloy ang ulo ko.

I met up with Gly and Jody after my duty. We had late lunch at this high end chinese restaurant

"so ng- sex na kayo ulit?" asar ni Glyssa sa akin.

pinalo ko ang balikat niya  " ano ka ba may makarinig sayo" i looked around the other table to see if may nakarinig nga sa amin.

Nagtawanan yung dalawa clearly enjoying my discomfort.

" so what brings you guys here?" Just to change the conversation.

"Well i visited the fertility clinic..." Jody said

"Omg youre pregnant?!" I almost screamed.

She just shook her head..

The fertiliazation failed and i felt bad for Jody and Arky. I know how badly they wanted this and I really wanted this for them

"Yung komplikadong lovelife pa talaga ngkaanak" Gly snickered and poked my shoulder

"Har , har funny mo" i said sarcastically.

We went around the mall and tried to do some retail therapy to cheer up Jody.

Halos naikot na namin ang buong mall at hindi ko alam kung healthy pa ba ang retail therapy na ginagawa nila

Pagka-check ko sa phone ko naka-ilang tawag si Sandro, hindi ko namalayan naiwan ko pa lang naka-silent after ko mgrounds

Kinabahan ako dahil baka may nangyare sa anak nmin.

"Guys wait lang need to call Sandro naka-ilang tawag na baka may nangyare kay Sandy" i said to the girls

Huminto silang dalawa at mukhang ngaalala rin
At nakatitig sa akin habang tinatawagan si Sandro. Sumagot din siya agad after the third ring.

"Hey sorry my phone was on silent, may nangyare ba kay Sandy?" I asked worried

"Uhm..hi" he said nervously

"Sandro please answer me, may nangyare ba sa anak ko?!" I slightly raised my voice

The girls looked at me almost in panic

"No, no no" he said nervously

"Then what?!" I almost yelled at him

"I just wanted to ask if I can pick you up?" He asked nervously

I sighed and almost laughed.

Kala ko naman kung ano na. Bakit kasi hindi na lang niya sinabi agad.

I said yes.. well reluctantly. Pero para hindi na ako ihatid nung dalawa or hindi na ako mgtawag ng grab.
