I'm sitting at my desk, my forehead pressed against the surface, my arms cradling my head. I can hear laughter and other mindless noises in the room; it's suffocating. I grip my at my hair and tug it harshly, breathing in short sharp breaths. I try to think, to speak, but they's only a high pitched buzz reverberating around my skull. I squeeze my eyes shut and tug harder but it doesn't stop, it doesn't go away, it's just getting louder.
I can't even feel my hands tugging at my hair at this point, wait.
Gentle hands pull my fingers from my hair and something hefty is lifted over my ears. I look up teary eyed, as the noise goes away
Blinking my eyes slowly, my hand intertwines with another. My eyes lock with his, and I exhale slowly.
And the buzzing stops.

(A/N I know this isn't much, but I've had major exams and I haven't been sleeping much, so ik exhausted. This was my best try at sensory overload, if I got anything wrong please correct me <3 )
