Summary: You were currently crying because you and your boyfriend broke up. He never treated you right, All he did was make sure you never went anywhere, he would continuously check your flip phone, and then he would blame all this for  "making sure you're not disrespecting your relationship with him".  Today he said that he loves you. You know damn well that you don't love him back. So you didn't say anything. When he didn't hear you say it back he started yelling and slapped you. You knew you didn't love him the day you knew what he was like. ON THE OTHER HAND.
You were currently running to your best-friend. Carter Murphy-May-hew   He always knew how to cheer you up when you were sad. He was so nice to you. He smelt like chocolate on a Christmas Day.  You were comfortable around him. And he knew it. He knew all your problems, he would hide you when you felt uncomfortable. He was also a little taller. So you ran into his arms. He was confused and worried at the same time

Y/N ran into my arms. I obviously have no idea what's going on so I hug them.  I asked them what was wrong and they looked up at me and I saw a visible slap mark on their cheek. At this point I was fuming with rage.  First, someone slapped them, then they made them cry?! "Hey hey calm down. Okay? Deep breaths" I told them. I could start to feel them calm down "okay now tell me what happened" after they told me what happened I wanted to kill him. But I needed to keep them calm and comforted. I must admit that I was jealous of him being able to date them. I mean come on. I've loved them since 5th grade and right now we're in 8th grade. I want to confess but I don't want to get rejected and ruin our friendship. Screw it. "U-uhm y/n can I tell you something?" I asked while sitting them on the bench with me "yeah what's *Sniff* up Carter" they asked me looking me in the eyes. "Well I want to tell you that...I like you and I hope you like me as-well" I said looking down in embarrassment. That's when I felt soft lips touch mine. It only lasted a second but I wish it lasted forever. "Ofc I like you back Carter your nice, sweet, you make me feel safe and I wouldn't know what I would do without you." They said smiling.
"I wanna show you something" I said leading them up to the roof of my house when we were at the roof I helped them sit down. We stared at eachother a little bit. Admiring each-other. I then looked up at the stars. They followed my eyes and we started to point out shapes in the stars. Laughing and soon falling asleep

*Time skip ( your 20 he's 21)*

You may kiss the *insert whatever you want* I kissed them. We did it. We finally got married. I've been waiting for this for so long. After the wedding I brought them back to my house. They asked what I was doing. I just handed them one of my hoodies and shorts while I changed out of my suit. When they were done I gently grabbed their hand and brought them up to the roof. They started crying and smiling. "Omg carter this is-is beautiful." Before the wedding I went up here and set up a picnic. She sat down on the blanket and started talking "remember when in middle school Mei fell on you and made a paw print on your shirt" they said giggling "oh my gosh yes I remember my parents were so mad that I got it dirty" I said sitting next to them. "I'm happy I met you Y/n" I said laying my head on their lap. "I'm happy I met you too Carter" they said looking up again
