"Yo A-Troupe!" I called as I walked into Studio A after finishing talking to Miss Kate. This new plan was not the original port of call but seeing as we go to Nationals in a week. This is what is needed
"Are you ready to find out the 12th member of A-Troupe?" I smirked looking around at everyone

"I didn't even notice" Michelle laughed being sarcastic. I rolled my eyes turning to her and shaking my head before turning to the rest of the team 

Riley was stood back where she belongs, front and centre with Eldon stood next to her while Becky leaned on her
It's almost as the last couple months was nothing but a bad dream to us

"Welcome the newest A-Trouper!" I called turning to watch as Jackson walked through the double doors
The moment he did, the look on some of their faces was so worth it
"Hey guys" he smiled waving at everyone
"Welcome aboard" Eldon said making me roll my eyes

"Without sounding rude, but this is Nationals.. What if-" Thalia said making me instantly thinking back to when Becky first joined the team

"Lets let him show us?" Riley spoke up
"Yeah, I did a duet with James when I joined so Jackson, pick your poison?" Becky said making everyone chuckle
The moment those words left Becky's lips, Jackson's gaze landed on Riley which makes sense. He is the only one he knows

"What do you say babe?" I smirked at Riley making her roll her eyes
"What was it you said? What's one more routine" I teased as she stepped forward

"mmm and do you know what I'm going to say now?" She asked flicking me
"What's that?" I asked crossing my arms across my chest
"what's one more breakup" She smirked making the entire Studio burst out laughing leaving me there a little shocked..

When did Riley get so sassy..

"Alright let's get this going" Jackson said as he walked back in with Riley around an hour or two later
"done already?" Giselle asked making Riley and Jackson nod

"good you are all here. James and Riley, I need to see your duet for Nationals please" Miss Kate said making Riley and I look at each other a little concerned. Neither of us had even had the chance to even think about that

"Sure but first Miss Kate, Jackson and Riley are showing us what they can do" I said making her roll her eyes
"You kids" she said crossing her arms as Riley and Jackson took to the floor

"Cute" I teased making Riley roll her eyes as she came and stood next to me
"Are they always like this?" Jackson laughed joining the rest of A-Troupe
"no, I think it's a recent development" Hunter laughed making Riley and I share a glance before we both smirked

"Now that we have established that Jackson is the final member, can I see this duet? If it isn't up to scratch he'll need to think of an alternative" Miss Kate explained making Riley and I nod before walking onto the floor

"James what are we doing?" Riley muttered making me nod at her
"Go back to square one Ri" I said making her nod again taking her position. It's time for our original choreo to be brought to light

The moment we finished, A-Troupe all cheered while Miss Kate had her usual impressed smile on her face
"Thankyou" She said before leaving again. I swear for someone who runs the studio, she's like never here

"I can see why you two are the national duet" Jackson said as A-Troupe crowded us
"National? They'll always be the only duet" Becky said making Riley look at her confused
"Beck, we have a duet" Riley laughed
"Yeah but that's nothing compared to you two" She winked making Riley roll her eyes 

It was a perfect atmosphere again and I hope it stays that way.
