Riley

"James what is going on?" I asked as we walked through the corridor to his hotel room. He had barely said a word and the words he did say didn't give any indication as to what was going on
"Right, just please hear her out" James said as we got to his room
"who?" I asked but as soon as James knocked on the door, it opened moments later revealing Emily stood there

I looked back at James who's expression had completely softened at just the sight of my sister
"Am I missing something?" I asked making Emily bow her head

"I'll leave you two to talk" James said before shutting the door behind the two of us. I knew for a fact he would probably just be loitering in the hallway until we've sorted whatever this is

"Emily, what is going on?" I asked as the pair of us walked in taking a seat opposite each other
"I don't know what to say" She whispered making me look at her confused
"Well about we start off with whatever you spoke to James about in the wings?" I asked making her look up at me with hesitation

"Alright Emily you are beginning to scare me" I said
"I should have listened to you Riley, I should have believed you" She whispered, I tilted my head to look at her hoping that nothing malicious had happened

"God I was so stupid" She said as her eyes began to well up with tears

"Emily, what did he do?" I whispered making her baby blue eyes lock in on mine with nothing but pure pain in her eyes
"He told me I deserved it that I was in the wrong" She muttered
"I can't believe I ever made you feel like that Riley. I'm so sorry" she said gripping a hold of my hands

Putting two and two together right now wasn't hard. I knew exactly what he had done and I wasn't going to accept that

--

Emily and I had been speaking about this for over 2 hours at this point. And I knew exactly what I needed to do
Tonight was the first mixer of this dance competition which meant that all the teams would be there
Henry included

A-Troupe and I walked in with Emily tied to our hips. Everyone was preoccupied with just having a good time but I was on the look out for someone in particular

"What's up with Riley?" I heard Hunter asked alerting James to my current situation
He came over intertwining our hands offering my a sympathetic smile that I happily returned
"I'm okay" I said to him but he shook his head
"No you're not but it's okay" He said before making me sigh

I turned to look at Emily who had looked like she had just seen a ghost which only made me go over to her a little faster
But the minute I got closer I could see exactly what she was looking at it was game over

"Uh James!" Emily called once again alerting James to what I was doing but as much as James is fast. He wasn't fast enough to catch up to me

I walked over to Henry and the moment I was close enough my hands formed a fist which then landed straight in between his eyes making him stumble backwards before regaining his balance and attempting to charge forward

But by this point James and the rest of the boys on the team were by my side

"Go on Henry, you want a hit a girl fucking try it!" I yelled at him trying to push past James but he saw every push and nudge coming
"Ri calm" he said but I shook my head at him

"You are fucking scum Henry" I continued to yell, James groaned lightly picking me up before placing my in between Eldon and Hunter while West stood in front of me

James then turned back to Henry who was glaring
"Better get a better muzzle for that girlfriend of yours buddy" Henry laughed
"Oh you've fucked it now" I laughed

And of course I was right, the moment that sentence left his lips James had just done exactly what I had done except James had enough strength behind his punch that it knocked Henry completely onto the floor

"Touch or speak to either of them again. You'll be a dead man" James said bluntly before walking back over to me throwing his arm over my shoulder roll his eyes at me

"Next time babe, can you like wait for me?" He asked making me chuckle
"Now where is the fun in that?" I smiled making him scoff kissing the top of my head
