﹄charlotte rowelle was abandoned by her mother, idresse rowelle, after learning of her husband's dedication to the dark arts. not wanting to risk the safety of her only child, she abandoned her on the doorstep of an infamous magical family and went into hiding, later becoming the first of many victims of charlotte's father, who was angry that she tried to abandon him.
﹄charlotte was re-named nicola by the potter family who elected to keep her true identity a secret to everyone, even James, who was raised as her older brother.
