﹄genie was working as a cocktail waitress at a small pub in cornwall, trying to pay her way through local university. one night she is approached by brian may, who at the time was the lead guitarist for the headlining band at the establishment, smile.
﹄over time, she becomes familiar with all of the band members and becomes especially acquainted with the lead vocalist, freddie, who insists that she is the source of his songwriting inspiration and coerces her into joining them as they travel the country on tour as queen.
﹄but all is not well in the world of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. nor is it ever. when the life of a rockstar becomes too overwhelming for the small-town waitress and the glitz and glamour no longer blind her to the reality of what her friends have turned into, she must decide how to proceed without breaking any more hearts than necessary.
