chapter 13.

Melody's pov

I'm awakened to the feeling of my mate kissing my neck "good morning sleepy head" he said in his morning voice which triggered a memory of last night making me sigh and turn in his arms and kiss him

And say "Good morning my love" he then said,"So how do you feel are you sore at all I could go get you something for the pain if you'd like?" I just shook my head in response and said, "no I'm fine I just wanna lay here in bed with you." He then kissed my lips and said.

"I'm ok with that but if something comes up can I go with you?"

To which I replied "yeah you can and maybe we can train together" I then looked at the clock it's 7:30am so I jumped out of bed and said,"actually let's train right now" he just nodded in response and I went over to the closet and pick out some black leggings and a black spots bra and put them on I then walked to the bathroom.

And brushed my teeth and washed my face and put my hair in a messy bun grabbed my favorite training shoes and waited for Cole.

After about 10 minutes Cole walks out of the bathroom in his training clothes and we made our way to the training field after about 45 minutes of training with my mate he finally pinned me to the ground making him smile he then got up and said " I just beat an alpha." He then helped me up.

I then said, "yeah after about 45 minutes of training. " We both laughed and walked over to our stuff I noticed Cole took his shirt off I jokingly whistled at him and said, "looking good" he turned a deep shade of red and whispered "thanks" to which I replied with a giggle he then picked up his water bottle and took a drink making it my turn to blush.

I then clear my throat and look at my phone it's only 8:45am so I look up at Cole and ask " Hey it's still early do you wanna train with our wolfs?" He noddd in response.

Time skip :)

After about 3 hours of training and me losing 10 times I can finally say he's ready for more advanced training but, not today we already have our stuff put away and we're on our way home to change.

After we both shower we lay in bed watching a movie I decided to ask "Hey Cole can we go shopping?" He chuckled and nodded in response I jumped up and yelled with excitement," Yay ok let's go"

Cole's POV

As we opened the door to the mall I'm already being dragged to a store as we enter the store Melody says " Cole get anything you want" to which I replied, "No I can't possibly make you spend your money on me."

To which she replied "You can and, you will if you don't walk out of this mall with at least two outfits from each store I won't train with you anymore" to which I replied, "ok fine"

She just giggled in response after about two and a half hours we finished shopping but Melody decided she wanted to see her family so we did.

The second I opened the door I was greeted by Melody's mom she had the biggest smile on her face she said, "Please come in would you like some cookies Cole?" To which I replied, "I would love some cookies Miss Jacobs."

She then said. "Please call me Lily and the cookies will be done in 10 minutes so you could go hang out with the boys and Melody you're sister is back and could you please help me with the kitchen please?"

I just nodded in response and made my way upstairs to Jack's room I knocked on his door and said, "hey Jack can I talk to you?" To which he replied"yeah come in"

I then opened his door and walked in to see him sitting on his bed playing videogames.

I then ask "hey are we cool?" To which he replied, "yeah we're cool hey do you wanna join me?" To which I just nodded in response and sat next to him and picked up one of his controllers.

After about 10 minutes of playing we got called to eat we both ran downstairs to see Lilly hugging the girl I saw when I left the house a few days ago I'm guessing that she's Melody's sister.

She then walked over to me and said, "Hey Cole it's nice to see you again." She then hugged me which made my mate growl at her she let go of me and said "Well as you probably know by now I'm Melody's sister Lizzie." I just nodded in response, Lily then said, "hey guys let's all sit and eat dinner"

I then looked at the table to see that Lily made pasta we all sat down and enjoyed dinner and dessert after we finished eating we decided it was time to go we said our goodbyes and headed home

Time skip...ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ

We made it home after about 20 minutes so the second we get home I asked, "Hey baby can we watch a movie?"To which she replied with a nod she grabbed the snacks while I grabbed a blanket.

We then cuddled up on the couch in the living room watching a horror movie it and apparently my mate is fearless because the scenes that scared the crap out of me made her laugh.

After the movie ended I looked at the time seeing as it was still early I asked, "Hey baby do you wanna go on a run with me?" To which she replied,"Yeah sure." I then striped and left my clothes on the porch

And shifted into my black and gray wolf Aries. I then looked behind me to see my mate shifting into her all white wolf
And let me tell you she is gorgeous she then walked up to me and brushed up against me she then took off running to the woods

I ran after her I'm slightly faster than her Which is surprising considering a few weeks ago I couldn't keep up with her but, now

I'm passing her she then jumped on me making me fall she and pinned me then started licking my Face she playfully bit my ear making me Yelp. I then got up and smirked at her

She then barked at me and took off again but before I could chase her I was jumped on by an unknown wolf.

By the way it smelled I could tell it was a rogue it then threw me to the ground and sunk it's claws into my back I whimpered, but got up throwing it I then lunged at him and took a chunk out of his side he then bucked me off and tried to lunge at me but I moved out of the way evading the attack.

Then I threw him to the ground and grabbed him by his throat and bit Down until I tasted the sweet taste of blood

I then snapped his neck making him whimper and his body go limp in my jaws I dropped him and mind linked Melody to tell her what happened.

After about 5 minutes Melody walked out from the woods to see the dead wolf that was laying on the ground next to me.

She then ran up to me and licking the blood off of my face I then licked her as if telling her I'm ok.

She walked behind a tree and shifted back and got dressed then walked back to me throwing me some sweat pants I picked them up and walked behind a tree and got dressed.

I walked out toward Melody she then asked "What happened here and are you ok?" To which I replied " I'm fine and I don't know he just came out of nowhere and attacked me" she just nodded then said, "alright let's just go home."

she then stripped off her clothes and shifted and I did the same we ran home after we got home we grabbed our clothes and went upstairs we both showered and went to bed.
