chapter 15.

⚠️Trigger warning panic attack's and death⚠️

Melody's pov

As Cole pushed me to the ground he was attacked by a large black male wolf with red glowing eyes. As the wolf was about to sink it's teeth into Cole's throat I get up and shift into my wolf and jump on the wolf just as Cole closed his eyes but I was too late and the wolf had closed his jaws

But before the wolf could crush Cole's wind pipe I grabbed it by the throat and bit it as hard as I could making the wolf drop my mate and whimper out in pain I then let go of it and quickly jump into a battle stance and let out a howl of war letting my pack know that we are under attack

The wolf then runs at me and tries to bite my leg but I quickly jump out of the way I then attack him and bite his leg he then bites my ear trying to make me let go and I do he then bites my leg making me Yelp in pain but I quickly turn and grab him by his
Throat and quickly snap his neck I then drop the wolf too the ground

and walk over to my mate who laid on the grass bleeding from his neck but before I could check if he was breathing I got tackled to the ground by a second wolf but before it could even harm me my brother jack knocked it out by hitting it in the head with a rock

He then pushed the wolf off of me and throw it to the ground next to me I then get up and walk over to Cole and laid my head on his chest to check if he was breathing

I then shift back just as my beta showed up he then throws a long over sized t-shirt which I put on I then say " he's still breathing please Link the pack doctor NOW."

After maybe 10 seconds of waiting the doctor came running to us and yelled at a few people to grab him and bring him to the hospital and before I knew it we were already in the hospital and Cole was in the hospital bed with a bunch of medicine equipment attached to him.

He was fast asleep he had a thick bandage on his throat from where he was attacked.

Seeing him like this made me so very angry and sad all I could think about was that he might not make it he might die and it was all my fault and I felt like I was worthless and i hated it I hated seeing my mate the man I loved most in this world in pain

I couldn't stand to see him like this so I walked out of the room and started to cry my eyes out I was in the middle of having a panic attack I could hear my heart beating in my ears and I felt like my whole body was on fire I felt as if I couldn't breathe and my ears were ringing so badly all I could do was sit on the floor and think and cry.

After about a minute and thirty seconds my panic attack was slowly  going away so I stood up and a wave of anger hit me and all I could think about was killing the last wolf who helped the one I killed all I could think about was feeling it's blood run down my face and hands

I couldn't help but smirk at the idea my wolf and I wanted blood for what they did to our mate and we will spill anyone's blood if they mess with my mate

After a few deep breaths I calmed down and stepped back into the room and waited for him to wake up

Cole's pov day one

I don't know how long it's been or where I am but all I can see is darkness but I can hear what sounds like a woman weeping she keeps crying out to me she's begging me to wake up but I can't 

I don't know how too I'm stuck in this unknown darkness that never seems to leave I'm starting to think I'm dead .

Day two day

I don't know how long it's been but The crying has finally stopped but but she was always here but now she turned her sadness into anger the woman started being  aggressively

to anyone who entered the room shouting at anyone and everyone she especially gets aggressive with a specific male that entered the room she yelled at him after he tried to comfort her

He asked her to dinner and she blew up on him like the 4th of July which made me chuckle after he left she sat down next to me and said

"hey baby it's been two day please wake up I miss you."

She then kissed my cheek which caused a tingling sensation to spread throughout my body then there was silence.

Day three

Everything seems fine the woman had a few visitors a male and a female they were crying they then began trying to talk with me saying

"Hi Cole it's good to see you it's Jaden I have the most exciting news for you when you wake up buddy."

The female began to say " hey Cole it's Sam I'm so sorry about what happened to you." she began sobbing after a while they left leaving me in silence again that is until a loud bang was heard

And a male walked into the room he then began to yell

" HEY I BET YOU MISSED ME DUMBASS JASON'S BACK!!."

next thing I know I'm being blinded by a bright light gasping for air and the sound of loud beeping rang in my ears.
