Chapter fifteen.

There were two people battling for control inside one body. The human determined to survive, and the monster desiring to devour her whole. But instead of her own face, it was the Hell Priest who would stare back. Commander dropped her weapon as the cenobite before her morphed again into her own self. Taller, stronger and more revealing than she could ever imagine herself to be. Was this a nightmare? Commander came to the conclusion that there was something in the tea Balberith had given to her.

When she would dodge to pick up her blade, a pair of human hands would grab the handle and a choked out gasp would escape. "Isn't this what you wanted? Your utmost desire, or is it me?"

The dopple ganger grabbed her arm, holding her in place as she struggled.

She would awake to the low moans of an opened tome, a voice chastizing it as it groaned in response. When she moved, her chest tightened. Gritting her teeth, Commander sat up and caught a glimpse of the glistening pin within her chest. But before she could examine it, Roxanne came around the corner.

"Bella! I've been searching the labyrinth for you- What the hell happened?" She wasn't sure how to reply, except to only stand up and place the books away.

"Hello? Can't you hear me?"

She grabbed her arm, only to be flung across the room. Leather bound books toppled over her as she cursed loudly at herself. "Bella what the hell!"

"I have to go back...."

Commander murmured under her breath, making her way through a corridor of books. Roxanne followed after, bewildered at her niece's actions. "Bella! Answer me god damn it, what did he do to you?"

But before Commander could answer, the Hell Priest wrapped his arms around her and she collapsed into them. He lovingly held her before smirking at the zombie.

"You can't take what is rightfully mine, nor can you steal a destiny that is set in stone."

Chains suddenly hurled themselves for Roxanne.
