Mountaintops of the Giants
Y/N's POV
After leaving the Grand Lift, we all walked through the frozen land. My right shoulder was hurting really badly. Melina was riding Torrent, Rennala was riding Leonard, but the rest of us walked.
Y/N: An enemy left undefeated. Absolutely shameful of me.
Lansseax: Maybe fighting that thing wasn't the best idea.
Rennala: Is your shoulder alright?
Y/N: No, no it's not. I feel like I can't fight anymore.
Melina: We'll find a site of grace eventually. Let's just hope nothing attacks us.
I noticed Nepheli shivering from the freezing temperature.
Nepheli: Bloody hell, I never knew this place would be this cold!
Millicent: What did you expect? We're far in the north, after all.
Rennala: Maybe you should start wearing warmer clothes.
We all saw a blue orb near a stone obelisk. I assumed it was a map and picked it up, retrieving the Mountaintops of the Giants, West map.
Y/N: Can one of you girls please take this?
Melina took the map from me and looked at it.
Melina: It appears it's not much.
Nepheli: *Shivering* W-What do you mean?
She showed us the whole map. It wasn't much, like she said.
Millicent: That's all it shows?
Melina: Unfortunately, yes.
Y/N: Then I assume we must find the other maps around here.
Rennala: Don't have a choice. I may be kind of new in a place like this. Good thing I'm not touching the ground, 'cause I'm barefoot.
Lansseax: Ahh, yes. You're riding the horse.
I looked around to see if there was anything. By looking at the sky, it appeared to be close to sunset.
Y/N: Crap, almost night. We must find a site of grace immediately.
Fortunately, there was one near a cliff.
Y/N: There. We can rest at that one, for now.
Nepheli: *Shivering* G-Good.
Lansseax: I've already been here with all of you for almost the entire day. So far, today has been a big day.
Millicent: It sure was, Lansseax.
We moved closer to where the site of grace was. I touched it with my other arm and Nepheli already rested at it. She was now warm.
Nepheli: Much better.
The girls did the same, but before I could get near it, Melina stopped me.
