I've just arrived in underland and have found out Hatter hasn't been himself lately. I run to his house and knock on the door. "Hatter! Hatter it's me! Open the door!" I giggle. I hear the lock jiggle and the door opens to reveal Hatter.

His hair isn't in its usual style and his face looks paler than his usual pale tone! "Y/n!" He whispers not sure. "You're you and you're here!" He says happily pulling me into a hug. I wrap my arms around his waist and cuddle into his chest.

He pulls away and looks at me uncertain. "You are you aren't you?" He asks. He touches my face in multiple places and squishes it while turning me around. "Yes Hatter!" I giggle. "Good you're the only one." He says suddenly very serious. He pulls me inside and shuts the door. "You've always been Y/n." He says in a sad voice while caressing my cheek. My heart breaks. What's wrong with him? "And that's how I know you'll believe me." He says cutely.

I stare at him and smile taking in his wonderful features. "I've missed you Hatter!" I tell him grinning. "It's my family y/n." He mumbles as he walks away. "Your family?" I ask confused following him. "Yes. My family lost for many years." He says staring at his family portrait. "Or so I thought!" He whispers. "Look! I found this!" He says showing me a small hat. "The first hat I ever made!" He tells me happily. "I thought it was tossed away long long ago. It's impossible for it to be here-yet here it is!" He says with his lisp.

"So if this hat survived my family must have too!" He says happily as his green eyes become more vibrant. I look at him baffled. "Hatter-" I start only for him to cut me off. "I thought I wasn't worthy of the Hightopp name! A very silly man my father." He mumbles the last part while walking off again. "We got into a terrible fight. I never said I was sorry when I had the chance." He says choking up. He turns to face me again. "But this means that I can make things right!" He says happily staring at the hat.

I walk closer to him. "Hatter...Your family are..." I trail off sadly. "You... do believe me. Don't you Y/n?" He asks looking betrayed. "I want to I..." I trail off looking at him. I grab his hands but he pulls away. He stares at me in pure shock but he suddenly falls back and his hair turns a bit white. "Hatter!" I panic sitting him on a trunk. I brush his hair from his face and rub his cheek bones. He leans into my touch and closes his eyes.

"You're not well! What can I do?!" I ask worried. "Of course! My dear Y/n, Alice is bringing my family back to me!" He whispers grabbing my hands. I kiss his knuckles and rub them. "Hatter but the thing is... your family died. Long ago. You told me so yourself!" I tell him and he looks at me with a sad face. His eyes are now a dull green and he stares at me betrayed. "No one can bring them back!" I soothe. I see tears fall down his face so I wipe them away with my handkerchief. "No one but Alice!" He presses and his bottom lip trembles. "I'm sorry but it's... it's impossible." I try again.

I kiss his hands again and he looks at me with tears pouring down his face. He looks at me frightened and closes his eyes. He rolled his head and his eye makeup turned black. I gasp and pull away from him. "You, are not you." He growls in a thick Scottish accent. My eyes widen as he grabs my arm harshly. He guides me to the door and opens it harshly as his normal colours return. "Hatter please!" I beg. "Get out!" He spits as he pushes me out of the door. "I don't know who you are. You're not my Y/n." He whimpers. "My Y/n would believe me." He cries and shuts the door in my face.

I hear a thud from inside and hear a smash. "Hatter! Hatter let me in! Tarrent!" I beg. I shove the door open and see Hatter on the floor nearly unconscious. "Oh darling." I cry and lift him onto my lap. I stroke his cheek and he cuddles into my touch.

"Tarrent wake up dear. Let get you into bed with a nice cup of tea." I say and pick him up to the best of my ability. I carry him bridal style up to his bedroom. I lay him on his bed as he cries. I boil the water for the tea and while I wait I lay on the bed with Hatter. "I'm sorry my darling." I soothe him by kissing his forehead.

"I have some news for you." I smile softly. He looks at me with his big green eyes. "This will be my last trip to Underland." I say. He looks up at me and begins to cry. "Please don't leave me! Don't go! Stay!" He begs me sobbing into me. "Love, I didn't mean it that way! This is my last trip to underland. I've got to go back to upland and get my stuff because then I am moving down here!" I grin. "You are?!" He grins. "Yes! Ever since I found out my true heritage was here I wanted to live here immediately." I smile.

"Since my sisters are the Red and White Queens That also makes me a princess." I grin. "Actually you are a Queen!" He smiles. "How?" I ask confused. "The vow the two Queens made. They and any other sibling worthy of ruling will join their sisters on the throne." He whispers. "So you my dear are a Queen." He giggles. I smile at him. "That's my happy Hatter!" I grin. "Turn that frown upside down." I giggle.

"Wait since my sister are queens of colours do I need one?" I ask. He nods. "How about... the Pink Queen?" I ask. "It's a perfect mix of my sisters' colours. The Pink Queen. I like it." I grin. He nods again. I hear the tea pot whistle so I jump up to grab it. I pour two cups of tea and put in just the perfect amount of sugar. Three cubes. Just as Hatter likes it. I turn back and see that Hatter has changed clothes and gotten into bed.

I hand him a cup of tea and sit next to him. "Well if I'm a Queen then you are my King. My Mad King." I giggle kissing his nose causing it to scrunch up. He giggles and kisses my cheek. "I'm glad I have you my dear Y/n." He smiles. "And I you my dear Tarrant." I grin kissing him gently. He blushes and deepens the kiss. I put my tea on the side and grab his and put it next to mine. I take his hands in mine and pull away from the kiss. I gently kiss his knuckles and stare into his eyes.

I hear a knock at the door and I jump of Tarrant. I go down and see it's my sister.  I open the door and she looks at me worried. "Y/n?" She asks. "Mirana!" I grin and hug her. She wraps her arms around me tightly. She pulls back. "How is he sister?" She asks referring to Tarrant. "He's... coping." I say sadly. "Though Mirana I fear the worst. He's... fading..." I trail off. "Fading?!" She asks. "His a streak of his hair turned white." I tell her. "He's resting though." I tell her. She hums and looks down.

"How is Iracebeth?" I ask her. "Why don't you ask her yourself!" A voice says. "Racy!" I squeal. "Hello sister." She greets hugging me. "Come on in I'm just going to check on Hatter." I say. They all come in and wait in the living room. I run upstairs and stumble a bit feeling dizzy. I groan as I sit on the stair. "Y/n? Are you alright?" I hear Mirana ask. "F-Fine!" I mumble.

I try and stand again but end up falling down the stairs. "Y/n!" I hear Mirana and Iracebeth panic. I lay at the bottom of the stairs in pain. "Nothings broken." Racy says. "Y/n! Your hair!" Racy tells me. "It's turning... white." Mirana tells me. I look at my hair and see it's lost its colour.

"Y/n?! A-are you alright?!" I hear Tarrant say from the top of the stairs. I shiver feeling cold. "T-Tarrant!" I call. He runs down the stairs and gasps. He crouches down beside me and holds my hand. I notice a lot of his hair has turned white. "Love, your hair!" I panic. "I don't matter. Are you alright?!" He asks. I nod. "I'm fine. Just stumbled a bit and fell." I lie to him. Mirana looks at me confused and I give her a stern look telling her to be quite.

"Go back to bed Tarrant, I'll be backup soon, I'm just talking to my sisters." I smile and kiss his cheeks. He helps me up and hugs me before he makes his way back up to his room.

"Oh don't look at me like that." I growl as my sisters raise their eyebrows at me. "I know what's wrong with me. Because if he soulmate bond I have with Tarrant I feel what he feels and whatever happens to him happens to me. If he fades so do I." I sigh sitting down.

"Which is why I need Alice to hurry up." I smile sadly.
