"Here we go. Tina the cleaner's got this lodger medical student and she's just fast asleep so I took it. I still say we should take him to the hospital though." Mum says handing me a stethoscope. As I just get it on I pull it off and turn to Mum. "We can't! They'd lock him up. They'd dissect him! One bottle of his blood could change the future of the human race." I warn my mum as I look at the Doctor. He looks so peaceful. "I-" mum starts But I cut her off. "No! Shush!" I warn her.

I put the stethoscope on and lean forward. I gently pull the cover down and place the stethoscope over the Doctor's heart. I smile slightly and then I move to his over one which also causes me to smile.

"Both working." I grin. Mum flies round and stares at me like I have two heads. "What do you mean both?!" She asks. "He's got two hearts." I tell her unfazed. "Oh don't be stupid." She rolls her eyes. "Well he has." I snap and get up. "Anything else he's got two of?" She asks snarking. "Leave him alone mum." I tell her walking out of the room.

I walk into the kitchen and go into the fridge grabbing something to eat. "How can he go changing his face? Is that a different face or is that a different person?" Mum asks. "How should I know?" I snap again. I sigh. "I'm sorry. It's just... I thought I knew him mum. I thought me and him were... then he goes and does this...I keep forgetting he's not human." I cry softly and my mum grabs my hand.

"The big question is though, where did you get a pair of men's pyjamas from?" I ask grinning holding her hand. "Howard's been staying over." Mum blushes. "What Howard from the market? How long's that been going on?" I giggle. "A month or so. First, he starts delivering to the door. I thought, "That's odd." Next thing you know, there's a bag of oranges..." Mum says but then I notice something.

"Is that Harriet Jones?" I ask running into the living room to see the television.

"Oh never mind me." Mum grumbles.
