CHAPTER 37; NEW RIVAL?

After their moment at everland, the couple decided to have a lunch at the nearest thai restaurant as per jennie's request. speaking of the latter, she has been quiet during the ride and Lisa keep on asking if she's really alright but to her dismay she only receive a nod or a simple yes as an answer.

"is that all Ms. Manoban?" the chef ask. he volunteered to take their orders instead of letting the waiter to their job thinking that lisa will notice him

"yeah, thanks" she answered dismissingly and the chef bow down before leaving in a hurry.

lisa glance at jennie who's busy typing on her phone, she noticed that jen is smiling on the screen so she look at her and frown, "who are you messaging with?" she ask, jennie look up to her before smiling a little, "i'm just checking up on sevi, mom sent me a photo of him and said that he's been crying non stop since we left" jennie said and lisa nod her head

"i think he miss your warmth"

"i think so, but mom said he's sleeping now and your dad is the one who put him into dreamland"

"didn't expect that" lisa chuckle and after a minute the chef went back to their table bringing the five different trays carried by five different boys

"here's your order Ms. Manoban, i hope you will enjoy your meal with your fiancee. please don't hesitate to call me if you need anything" he look at the both of them and jennie smile at him.

once done putting all the dishes lisa was somewhat confuse, "i think i only order 5 dishes but why the hell we have 8?" she stated scrunching her nose and jennie can't help but to giggle at lisa's cuteness

she is the one who put rice on Lisa's plate and other foods before she fill lisa's glass with water, "i think it's in the house. maybe they're trying to make good impression or something" she said and lisa shrug her shoulders before eating

she's about to grab the glass of wine when jennie slap her hand, "finish your food first" jennie sternly said, there's no room for argument so she don't have a choice but to follow

"it's my second time eating thai and i'm really fond with the tastes" jennie said while munching her food happily and lisa smirk at her.

she look at lisa questioningly "what?" jennie ask, confuse

lisa put her chopsticks and look at jennie's eyes, "it's not your second time eating thai" she said and jennie stop and think

she remember her first time eating thai is when her dad brought a take out after work, and other than that she can't remember anything

lisa notice that jennie is thinking hard that caused her to laugh, "what's funny?" ask the confused brunette

"i mean baby, you tasted me already for i don't know how many times and you know i'm a Thai. so this is not your second time" lisa explain teasingly and jennie's face is now turning pink as well as her ears because of embarrassment

lisa look at jennie and laugh harder she sees that jennie is blushing hard, "Stop it you dumb" jennie hide her face using her hands and lisa can't help but to giggle because of jennie's reaction, "i'm stating the fact tho" lisa tease her more and jennie glare at her deeply that cause her to shut her mouth

"okay okay i'm just joking" she said defeatedly and jennie roll her eyes before drinking cold water because she's sweating

while jennie is eating lisa wipe her forehead and smile at her before kissing her nose, remember, she's on the other side of the table while facing her wife to be

"there, just teasing you" she said calmly and jennie smile at her before eating her foods.

after finishing their lunch, they decided to go to the mall that wendy own because Lisa is planning to let jennie get whatever she wants as a reward for being a hands on mommy for sevi and a responsible partner for her.
