CHAPTER 38; WHO'S THE GUY?

It's been weeks since i had my alone time with jennie and now we are back to normal again. i am here at the company and jennie's at the university, probably studying

we already talked about her going to school and we agreed that i will be the one to drive her back and forth everyday for her own safety.

I don't want anything to happen to her so i must protect her from any harm

two months more and she will graduate already after lots of struggle, she manage to cope up with her missed lectures by the help of her professors who gives her special classes and her friends who are kind enough to lend their notes to her.

despite of her busy schedule, she still manage to look after sevi and still have time to read him stories before bed

she's still the best girl i know.

i was brought back to my senses when my door suddenly open and my friends walk in, "Hello there stupid, it's been a while" jisoo said and they flop their asses on the couch

ryujin tap the space next to her signaling me to sit. i stood up and walk towards them, "i thought you're all busy these past few weeks" i said and put my arm around ryujin's shoulder

"well, i just got home from busan after three weeks" seulgi said

"how's work?" i ask and she shrug

"same old"

"what are you doing here by the way?" i look at cubby and she smirk

"we think that it's been months since the last time we hang out together, so we planned to have a trip" she said and i shook my head, already disagreeing with them

"I can't, did you forgot that i already have a family to look out to? i just can't leave jennie alone with sevi knowing that she's back to the university. plus i don't think it's a good idea, she won't let me either way." i explain and they look at me disappointedly

what can i do? family comes first

"c'mon lis, only for three days. it won't hurt" jeongyeon persuaded me but i still shook my head

"you all can go, don't mind me. besides i will not let jennie get out of my sight for a long time. and sevi's turning one month old tomorrow"

i said and their faces brighten up once i mentioned that sevi's turning a month already. time really flies so fast

"god! i almost forgot! so what's the plan?" seulgi ask

"i was about to invite you later at night about tomorrow's small celebration. you know, just family" i told them and ryujin tap my shoulder while the other nod their heads

"mky, we'll be there. i guess our supposedly plan will be move next year" cubby chuckle at herself

"probably, with lisa being family oriented type of person now, it will be hard for us to fit on her schedule anytime soon" they laugh at jisoo and i throw her the pillow beside me

"you'll get there, don't worry " i stood and walk towards my desk before flopping myself on my swivel chair, "just leave idiots, i need to finish something important here" i get one of the documents on my table as i heard them click their tongue

"whatever. see you tomorrow dada" seulgi tease and the other laugh at her before storming out the office

lisa chuckle as she shake her head because of her friends. she take her phone out, it's almost lunch time and jennie's class must be over by now so she decided to call her fiancee.
