"What are we gonna do now?" Giraffy asked as we all sat on the small bed.

"Well, we wait, I guess..." Georgie said faintly. I could tell that he was worried about Zee.

"She'll be ok, Georgie," I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"How are we sure of that, though?" He asked, and I began to respond, but before I could, the sewer lid popped up, revealing two young zebras.

"OH! MY! GODNESS!" Georgie sprinted to the opened sewer. "Are you ok? Where have you been??" He questioned as he hugged Zee.

"G, it's ok! I'm fine!" Zee hugged him back, then spoke again, "Let me climb up, though!"

Georgie backed away enough to let Zee climb out of the sewer, then when she stood up, he went back over to her grabbing her and picking her up in a basket carry.

"Ah!" Zee yelped. She leaned her head towards Georgie and pecked him on the cheek, to which Georgie became bright red.

"Oh my gosh," Zuzy sighed, climbing up from the manhole.

"Guys, I'm sorry to break this up, but we need to find a way out of here," Player suggested.

"Mhm.." I nodded in agreement.

"Here, I'll go down there," Player said while pointing to the opened sewer, "And open it up from the outside. Zee, Zuzy, you should come with me so they don't think something is up. The guards, that is."

I nodded once again. Pretty good idea, makes sense why they're a detective...

The rest of the gang agreed, and Player went down the ladder, followed by Zee and Zuzy. Well, actually just Zuzy..

"Please, please stay safe!" Georgie said through tears, hugging Zee tight.

"I will, G. Don't worry about me!" She said grabbing his hands and kissing him. Georgie was surprised at first, I mean, who wouldn't be? Considering you're kissing in front of everyone, but then he settled into it, and all of the rest of us just watched from the bed.

After about 5 seconds, they came apart, and then Zee hugged him once again. "I love you so much," she whispered, but everyone heard.

"Love you, too," Georgie told her. They left the hug and Zee went down the sewer. Georgie turned and looked at us, "How much of that did you guys hear..?"

"None!" I quickly laughed.

"All of it." Giraffy spoke, and I elbowed him in the stomach. "Ow! Uh, I mean, none! None at all!"

"Great job, you doof," I joked with him.

"Hey, I'm trying! I'm not good at emotional stuff!" He argued in a whisper.

"Except with Mimi!" I teased in his ear. His face got bright pink, like Georgie's, and I stopped.

"Uh, ok..?" Georgie tried to process what the heck just happened. To be honest, I'm not even positive, and I was one of the main people causing it.

"Whatever," I spoke, and Mimi's head flipped around from where she was looking at the, oh so, interesting wall. Her ponytail swung around and hit her in the face, I stifled a laugh for that.

"What if we can somehow unlock the door from the inside?" She pondered.

"How would we do that?" Georgie asked in curiosity.

Mimi reached to her ponytail, and pulled out a bobby-pin. "With this!" She exclaimed.

"So, we reach through the bars, try to unlock the padlock with a bobby-pin, and then somehow escape without the guards noticing. Not to mention that Zee, Zuzy, and Player would have no clue where we were if we left without them!" Georgie explained, and I had to agree with him, the plan made almost no sense...

"Eh, we'd figure it out, I'm sure!" Mimi sounded enthusiastic, but I knew she was doubting her calculations.

"Mhm, sure..." Georgie 'agreed'.

"Well, if you're so upset about it, maybe we should just shut the idea out," Mimi said.

"Yep, great idea!" Georgie spoke, actually agreeing this time. I glanced at Mimi who looked like she was about to cry. I put my arm on her shoulder, trying to comfort her, but it was of no use.

"Hey, Georgie, can you and I have a quick chat?" I asked him, and he nodded. I took him to where the manhole cover was.

"So, what did you want?" He asked, obviously annoyed.

"What's with your attitude? You just got to see your girlfriend!" I replied.

"First off, nothing's wrong with my attitude, and second, I know that, genius!" He remarked, he thought he was smart, but he was just being more of a pain. Oh. Realization hit me. He was upset and in a mood because he just got to see his girlfriend, and she just left...

"So, you get it now?" Georgie laughed slightly.

I nodded, then embraced him, "I know how hard it is..." I whispered so only he could hear.

"I-" Georgie broke out into tears, "I-I just wanna know she's ok all the t-time... so she doesn't leave..."

I nodded, again, and lowered to his level. "Listen, even if she's Zizzy's most distant relative, she'll be able to fight! She'll be ok, Georgie, everything will be ok." I tried to speak, but I knew I was lying. I didn't know everything would be ok, and I wasn't sure if anyone down there was ok. But I had to be strong for Georgie.

"Ok, I'll try." Georgie agreed.

More minutes passed of silence. I glanced over at Giraffy, who was looking into Mimi's eyes, and Mimi was doing the same with Giraffy. I smiled, as it looked like they were having a silent conversation. Giraffy then saw me looking at them, and reached his hand towards Mimi's. Mimi wrapped her hand around his, and when she did, Giraffy had an expression in between happy-confusion, excited, and beaming. I couldn't see Mimi's, but I figured it was mostly the same.

As I figured, they were falling in love.
