We On

Why'd you do it?
I just wanted to...

"Is she alright?" Sora asked as she and Soo-Ah helped a very sleepy Mishil down the hallway into the makeup rooms. "Yeah, just sleep-deprived." Soo-Ah nodded, letting out a breathy laugh.
"Glad you clarified that. Otherwise, I was thinking whatnot," Sora grimaced as she shook her head at the absurd thoughts she had.

It was a little past 4 o clock in the morning, and one thing you must know about Mishil is that; she is NOT a morning person!

She might have to wake up really early given the fact that TXT started their days at 6 sharp and as their assistant manager, she had to be at the Big Hit building by 5:30 and get everything ready for the boys to have a smooth day.
And when does she wake up? 5 am on the dot. 30 minutes might not be enough time but to Mishil, that's more than enough.

The wake-up time being  90 minutes before she usually woke up did not help with the fact that she was up tossing and turning half the night.
She was gonna make her first public appearance with her boyfriend, so her getting a good night's sleep would be helpful, it wasn't expected since it's Mishil.

The night was spent pretty much sleepless, all thanks to the nerves and when finally she got a lick of sleep, she was awakened by Soo-Ah gently shaking her shoulders.
And she would at least grumble at her, had she not noticed the extremely apologetic look etched on Soo-Ah's face.
And while Mishil loved her sleep, she loved her best friend more. So, she just dragged herself to the bathroom to take a shower, while praying that a shower would miraculously wipe the sleepiness off.

But it didn't. She could barely walk straight which led Sora and Soo-Ah to help her to the makeup rooms to get ready.
Sora pushed the door open while steadying Mishil with one hand, walking inside the brightly lit room where Mi Eun and the other staff were laying out their makeup brushes and other tools while the stylists were doing last checks on the clothes for the boys. Everyone had their sleepy eyes and half-awake stances which somehow comforted Mishil. It was nice to know that you aren't the only one on the verge of falling asleep everywhere and anywhere,

Airport entrances weren't a big deal for Bangtan; most of the time the members walk down the airport in their clothes.
But this one was special and needed preparations, which explained the early start.

"Do you want coffee?" Soo-Ah bent down to her level, speaking softly. It hurt to watch her usually cheery best friend now dragging herself, eyes barely open.
"That would help," Mishil said, leaning back on the chair, as Mi Eun got ready for her. Soo-Ah
passed a soft smile before walking towards the door. Just as she reached for the door, it swung open revealing Namjoon with dark bags under his eyes with Jimin and Hoseok in tow.

"Sorry, did I hurt you?" Namjoon looked up, offering a weak, apologetic smile to Soo-Ah.
"No, you didn't but-" He knew what Soo-Ah was going to ask.
"No, I couldn't sleep last night..." He said, suppressing a yawn.

"Well, that makes the two of them," Sora remarked, shaking her head. "Mishil too?" Hoseok as he took a seat in front of the mirror.
Sora just tilted her head towards Mishil sitting on the couch, feeling rather sorry for the younger. She looked up to offer the boys a weak smile, but anyone with a pulse could see how nervous she was. The poor girl looked like she was being weighed down with stress.

Namjoon exhaled rather loudly before trudging towards his girlfriend, seating himself beside her.
As though an automatic response, Mishil reached for his hand, lacing their fingers together.
Their eyes opened a little more like they were finally getting around to waking up. The golden soulmate energy coursed through their bodies, which felt like getting sunlight after being indoors for way too long.
"Feel better?" Namjoon asked, his deep morning voice sending shivers down Mishil's body. It felt like the blazing ray of sunlight illuminating a dark, cold room for the first time in a while.
Keeping her eyes didn't feel like a struggle anymore for Mishil, as she turned to offer him a tiny smile and a nod.
"Finally!" Mi Eun cheered, earning collective chuckles from everyone around the room. "Yay soulmate energy!"
