they say disneyland is the happiest place on earth—a place where sadness is nonexistent, where wearing a frown is frownly looked upon, for joy and laughter are the only things the people believe in in there.

but to me, disneyland isn't the happiest place on earth; it's a person. a person whose soul would render you full of life, she would have you singing and dancing. someone who would take the blue out of you and would change its gloomy hue into vibrant yellow. and you would feel sunlight even in your darkest hours. to have the greatest company and the happiest place in the world was a dream i'd longed for these past years. and listening to these old songs no longer gave me heartaches—this time—it felt like coming home; i'm home. i'm home and i'm loved.
