i have no idea how many times i said "come back to me", but it's only because dammit, I COMMAND THEE TO COME BACK TO ME

in all seriousness, the highlight of this song is the heartbreak of when you know you messed up real bad and it's all too late and all you want is for them to come back but you know the likelihood of that occurring is a zero. despite that though, you still choose to believe they will after all these years. so basically you're living in a fucking fairytale without a happy ending :')

i decided to title this 'empty void' because that's the feeling without this person. that's what hurts. you can't escape the reality and those endless, damned 'come back to me's at 3 am.

i really do want to write something happier for once but everytime i do it sounds so fucking cringy. uh, 'maybe next year' counts at least, right? i did write one called 'good vibes' which was basically 'maybe next year' 2.0 in february but my phone deleted it so i don't use the notes app anymore.

well, good vibes did indeed come back to me *wink wink* and i'm doing pretty great! sO yEaH-
