um... wth is this?? i'm cringing, HELP-

yes, another one inspired by bruno mar's 'grenade'. ik, there's so many, but it's somewhat my comfort song to lash out what i'm feeling. it is afterall my all-time favorite song, after taylor swift's 'enchanted'. 

i don't care if you don't listen to bruno mars. you clearly haven't lived, if you haven't listened to the acoustic version of grenade. it's so raw and full of emotions . . . a bittersweet masterpiece, at its core.

with 'good riddance', i wanted to evoke the emotions, when inevitably trying to move on. it's bittersweet, and it's angsty. heartbreak is something that can't be quite conveyed with just one feeling, as there's many draped along.

i've found that writing songs and listening to music is the most therapeutic for me, and eventhough i said i wasn't going to focus on writing heartbreak songs- no. this isn't heartbreak, that's so 2022. it's bittersweet </3

point is, letting all the bittersweetness from within, allows me to be somewhat sane 😂
