QUACKITY -

It was cold on the roof overlooking the docs even though I was wrapped in a large coat. Halo's workers were wandering around the docs. I was full of nervous energy as I waited to hear from Wilbur. He, Techno and Phil were in a meeting with Halo at that very moment, they were negotiating Halo's support in exchange for Skeppy's safe return. Wil had promised to call me the moment they got out of the meeting. Then he'd be on his way to Florida for a check in on George's mission.

I watched as Sam pushed barrels back and forth across the docks and other workers came and went. I couldn't help but smile as I notices a large bloodstain in the wood from when I'd shot HBomb. I sat for hours and hours, watching and waiting. It was a little boring admittedly but I held onto the anticipation of seeing Wilbur and getting Halo on our side.

I'd been sitting on the roof for almost four hours when my phone started ringing. It was Wilbur. I immediately picked up and brought the phone to my ear.
"How'd it go?" I asked immediately.
"It went great, Halo's on our side," He sounded excited. He didn't sound excited often, I liked when he did, it made him seem like less of a cold hearted assassin and more of a human with real emotions.

"That's great," I said.
"Yeah, turns out he actually is an old friend of Detective Taken and Notfound, we didn't even need to bribe him with Skeppy, he just wants to meet with George to confirm the agreement. He trusts George," Wilbur sounded like a huge weight had been lifted off of his shoulders.

"George will be so glad to get out of Dream's place, even if it's just for a day or so," I replied, leaning against the wall marking the edge of the roof. Wilbur hummed in agreement. We sat in silence for a few moments and I could hear a loud humming noise in the background."Where are you right now Wil?" I asked suspiciously. Wilbur chuckled.

"I'm going to send you a location, be there in ten minutes," Before I could respond, he hung up. A moment later my phone screen lit up with a message from him. I opened it and found a text message. It was an address. I couldn't help but smile at it as I quickly descended off the roof of the building. I got in my car and began driving to the address.

It took me eight minutes to get there. It was the SBI private airport. I got out the car and looked around, confused. Why had Wilbur sent me here? He wasn't due to travel to Florida until tomorrow morning. The tarmac was empty apart from a man loading luggage from a small jet plane.

I watched the man as he loaded luggage, I didn't recognise him, he was just a random guy, he'd probably been hired by Phil and he didn't know who he was really working for. I leaned against my car, watching the worker. After a few minutes I was beginning to think that Wilbur had just sent me here to take the piss out of me but then I heard a voice.

"I hope you don't mind, I'm here a little early,"
I turned my back on the worker and saw Wilbur on the other side of the tarmac. My face split into a smile as he ran towards me, his his long brown trench coat flowing behind him.
"WILBAH!" I yelled,
"QUACKITEEE!" He yelled back. We both grinned as we collided into each other's arms. I looked up into his eyes.

"Tal vez te extraño," He said as he reached up and placed his hand on the back of my neck, pulling me closer.
"Tal vez yo también te extraño," I replied, wrapping my arms around his waist. We both smiled.

I pulled me closer by the back of my neck and our lips met. I melted into the kiss, feeling elated after so long apart from him. It had been almost six months since I'd last seen Wilbur in person. We'd both been so busy with missions that we kept missing each other whenever we had breaks. It felt amazing to be back with him after so long. I held him closer, one of my hands tangling in his tousled brown hair.

After a few moments we broke apart and rested our foreheads together. Wilbur beamed at me. Then his face fell into a look of anger as his eyes flickered to something over my shoulder. I turned so I could see what he was staring at. The worker was a few feet away, filming us with his phone camera. Two of the world's best assassins had just been caught on camera yelling like idiots and kissing.

Without hesitation, Wilbur pulled out a gun and shot the man with a surprising amount of accuracy considering he was around a hundred feet away. I chuckled.
"Idiot," I said, staring at the man who now lay lifeless on the ground. Wilbur laughed loudly,
"I keep telling Phil not to employ the general public, they always think they're clever enough to catch us doing something that'll make us less intimidating,"

I stared up at Wilbur again, taking him in. He looked mostly the same as the last time I'd seen him. His hair was a little longer though and he had a small shadow of a beard growing on his jawline. He turned his attention to me and grinned.
"You look the same Q, have you even washed that beanie since the last time I saw you?" He draped his arm around my shoulder as we walked over to my car. I scoffed.

"Of course I have, I'm not unhygienic Wil," I said matter of factly, Wilbur laughed loudly.
"Sure," He planted a kiss on my cheek before climbing into the passenger seat. I got in next to him and started the car. Wilbur reached across and grabbed my hand, leaving me to drive one handed.
"That's dangerous, you know?" I remarked as I drove away from the private airport. Wilbur rolled his eyes.
"We both know you're the best driver in the SBI, you'll be fine," He squeezed my hand. I smiled.

This felt right.
