Weekend came and I was pacing back and forth here in front of our company's lobby. Kanina pa ang out ko from the office and I've been waiting here for almost 30 minutes. My employees was just looking at me curiously, afraid to ask me.
Frankly, I'm really just early for our call time but then I just can't help it. Tumigil ako sa paglalakad at bumuntong-hininga ng matanaw ang Gray Silverado na papalapit.
It parked near me and the driver's seat opened revealing Light in his casual attire. Nakangiti itong naglakad patungo sa'kin at napatingin ako sa hawak niya.
Malayo palang napa-awang na ang bibig ko at tutok na tutok sa hawak niya. The familiar box he's holding made my jaw dropped.
God, hindi ko pa nga nauubos iyong kahapon, meron naman ngayon. Sigh.
"Hey, kitten." He kissed my cheeks and handed me the gold box and a flower bouquet. "For you."
Umayos ako ng tayo at tinanggap ang bigay niya. "Thank you, babe but you really don't need to give me this. Daily. Ikaw lang sapat na." I gave him a quick kiss in the lips.
He chuckled with my comment.
"I really just can't help but to gave you this things. I wanna spoil you, kitten with my own money. I know you can afford to buy those but as your boyfriend I'm happy giving you these. Kahit araw-araw pa."
Umikot naman ang mga mata ko at mahinang tinampal ang braso niya. "You already did, remember?" I raised a brow and we both laughed.
We both went to his car and he opened the shot gun seat for me. I said thanks and he winked making me chuckle.
This man of mine.
He jogged in the driver's seat and slid in. He looked at me after he put his seatbelt.
"I'm ready." He smiled cheekily and I can't help but to laugh.
"Me too." I said. Dumukwang siya sa'kin at binigyan ako ng halik sa noo, kapagkuwan ay pinaandar ang sasakyan.
I smiled and closed my eyes.
This evening, we're going to our mansion. Not my mansion but the family's mansion. We're having dinner there and I'm gonna introduce Light to the fam. Also, mom and dad went home two days ago when I informed them that their first born has finally entered in a relationship which was one of their so called wishes for me.
Nababahala siguro na baka wala silang magiging apo sa'kin. Kidding.
They we're so hectic to see Light that they booked a flight from Switzerland, flight from one country to another and back here in the Philippines two days ago. And now, I know they are preparing for tonight. Well, I don't know my siblings reaction dahil on call ko lang silang in-inform na ipapakilala ko na sa kanila si Light noong nakaraang Linggo. They didn't seemed surprise nor I heard a gasp.
But tonight, I'm gonna see their reactions. It's a moment I couldn't miss.
Binuksan ko ang mga mata ko ng mapansing tumigil ang sasakyan. I glanced at the window side and I saw we stopped in a classic restaurant.
"You have something to buy?" I asked Light when I shifted my weight to his side.
Nginitian niya lang ako at mabilis na hinalikan ang pisngi ko.
"I'll be back in a minute." He immediately went out in the car and I saw him running over a smiling middle-aged man wearing an apron and a cook's hat just outside the resto.
A cook?
Kinuha nito ang isang food tray sa kamay ng lalaki at saglit nag-usap, later on Light patted the man's shoulder and bid his goodbye.
