I was sitting on my bed reading yet another mystery novel. I've been addicted to them the past two days. There was a knock on the door and Jace then called me down. I came down the stairs. "Yeah Jace what's up?" I ask. And then I saw my grandma standing there and my heart sank. My grandma from my dad's side hated me. She thought I was fat, ugly and that being a singer or superhero isn't a real career.
"Hello Isabella" she said
"Grandma what a big surprise," I say, trying to sound happy. I sigh knowing these next two days will be h**l. She walked up to me and examined my face.
"Why aren't you wearing any makeup?" she asked
"Because I'm at home" I say
"Well you gotta dress to impress even when you are at home" she said
"I'll go put on some makeup" I say and walk away, I see Jace's eyes follow me sadly. I never let my grandma boss me around like that but I didn't feel like I had enough energy. I sit in front of my mirror. I tied my hair up with my mom's scarf and then put on some new clothes. A skirt and a black crop top. I walked out looking like I just won an oscar.

"Don't" I said with no energy, and then walked away. Jace followed after me.
"Why are you wearing that Scarf" he asked
"I'm just feeling down today" I say, sighing. He looked at me sadly and I walked away. I didn't feel like wearing the skirt and the top so I changed into a new costume. I sat down on the couch and looked outside. There were a bunch of trees outside. My grandma barged in and I sighed.
"Why did you change"
