Godzilla vs Kong: What If?

Chapter 9

The city of San Francisco was a mess, so many buildings had collapsed and many more lives had been lost in under thirty minutes of the attack happening. The Queen Muto was on a rampage, with Godzilla MIA she took this as an opportunity to crumble the helpless civilizations below her and she relished in it. The last time she had this much fun ruining lives was before her hibernation. She felt the minor tingle of small rockets as they exploded against her thick hide, feeling nothing but pure unrivaled fury.

As she brought her long front legs down on another towering building she heard the faint cry of the alpha as he approached from the bay area. She saw nothing but rage in his eyes and it done nothing but fuel her own.

Godzilla cursed at himself as he didn't take the extent of her rampage as seriously as he should have, hundreds if not thousands of humans have already perished in the rubble. He snorted angrily at the Muto, this destruction was unnecessary and as a result cost lives. Though Godzilla did not share a heart with the humans as his Queen did, it does not mean he wished to see all the deaths of those beings at the claws of a titan so merciless as Queen Muto. He knew humanity was a mixed bunch; some bad, some good, but they didn't deserve this sudden attack. With that in mind, he charged at the Muto head on.

Queen Muto brought her many long and short frontal limbs to scrape and slash Godzilla, but Godzilla in turn had grabbed her two main front legs and started shoving her to the rubble filled ground below. Just like he did with the Femuto, he intended to use his foot to swiftly end this battle so no further harm is exchanged.

Alas, Queen Muto had other plans and while Godzilla was shoving; she dug her sharp tipped legs into his back and pulled, ripping deep gashes from Godzilla's dorsals to his sides. She let out a satisfied roar and hooked the same limbs into the flesh of the alpha. Godzilla roared and used his knee to slam Queen Muto in the stomach which weakened her slightly - using this short advantage he sunk his teeth within the protective hide and into exposed flesh, he brought his claws down and slashed into the Mutos chest and stomach.

Queen Muto eventually let go after receiving many fatal blows to her exposed stomach, she growled and watched as Godzilla panted from the injuries he received in turn; blood was spilling like waterfalls down his back and onto the ground below. She relished in such a sight, before roaring and charging into Godzilla's exposed stomach which made him stumble to the ground. He let out an enraged roar when he was silenced by a large claw narrowly missing his eye as it slashed his face.

She caught Godzilla's dorsals charging up with a familiar blue hue and reared up before slamming her legs onto the ground to release a huge EMP, completely cancelling the atomic breath Godzilla had ready.

Godzilla snarled and pulled himself to all fours, his tail lashed behind him like a whip as he charged at Queen Muto's legs, managing to clamp down on a front limb and breaking it easily, earning a strangled cry from said titan. He watched the Muto back away to regain some balance, now with only three usable limbs she was at a severe disadvantage.

Getting back onto two legs, Godzilla towered over Queen Muto and snarled.

"Bow." He commanded.

Queen Muto snarled but for the sake of her life she bowed and hoped to live another day.

"Go home." He ordered sharply, watching as she limped back to her territory; defeated.

As she left the scene, Godzilla shakily exhaled, he was loosing a lot of blood incredibly fast. His regeneration was quick, but it was not enough to stem the heavy bleeding before he bled out.

He needed to make it back to the island.

Mech and Kong had been talking to eachother, both of them learning more about the other with each passing minute. Rodan had flew off as he was no longer interested in staying as he had a volcano to tend to, which was fine to the other two titans.
