"hey, whose that you're texting?" fujita peeked over your shoulder while taking a seat next to you. "oh.. just a friend from miyagi" you chuckled. it was lunch at this time, and it was just you and fujita since takahashi is visiting family across the country. and you know, fukuda is just being fukuda. it was quiet between the two of you, except for the wind brushing against the trees.
"l/n, i want you to be honest with me." fujita looked over at you. looking at your confused face. "is this whole fukuda ignoring us thing about you hanging out with akaashi?" you were puzzled why fujita would ask something like that so randomly. but it was painfully obvious why fukuda was putting this new act on.
"uh—maybe? i don't even know anymore." as you two sat one the ground of the rooftop—where you'd usually go every day at lunch—you fell onto your back, laying in a starfish position. "she's so..." as you tried to grapple the words, fujita filled it in for you. "proprietoral?" you nodded, sitting up once again.
"she wants me to stay away from akaashi.. he doesn't even like her! you would think she would know when it's time to stop." fujita just smiled and listened to you. nodding or speaking up at times you'd say something. "just ignore her, she'll realize soon enough." you sighed wretchedly. "she needs to realize now!" you sighed, remembering to bring up one more thing that has been happening.
"i also think akaashi is ignoring me..." you hugged your knees, your face sinking into them. "he wouldn't! akaashi's too nice to ignore others!" fujita, who tried to cheer the mood up spoken energetically. "he's even drier in text than usual!!" you exclaimed, grabbing your hair on the sides. "oh come on, he can't-"

"oh my gosh..!" fujita snatched the phone out of your hands and saw all the messages between you and akaashi getting drier. "what?! is he?? he totally is, isn't he??!!" you were freaking out on the ground as fukuda was freaking out herself looking at all the dry replies. "does he even talk to you in school?" fujita turned to your panicked figure.
"not really, he only waves.. sometimes." you were looking at your feet before you jumped at fujita's scream. "he's totally trying to ignore you!!" fujita whisper shouted. it was only six words, but those six words pained you deeply. you felt a way you've never felt before. it felt as if a part of you was just ripped out of your body.
why do i feel like this? why do i feel hurt that he's ignoring me?
