Chapter 15

In the morning, I hear the alarm ringing, I groan and turn over.

"Sheriff you better turn off that damn alarm!" I yelled.

I hear it being turned off, and Rick not so quietly wake up Carl.

"Carl time to get up." He says

"Jerk." I say getting up.

Rick smirks as he sees me leave my cell.

"Your lucky Sheriff."

Rick smirks, and hands Jude to me.

"Go deal with dirt." I say

Rick and Carl leave to go tend to the garden, Beth comes out and holds her hands out excitedly.

"Here you go Sunflower." I say.

"Thanks." She says.

I nod, and go to my cell, looking at the cam recorder.
I don't know why I took it, don't even know why I'm keeping it now.
I just don't know.

There was suddenly gunshots, and screaming coming from the other cell block.

"Beth stay here!" I yelled seeing her look at me.

"I'm gonna look, you stay in here!" I say taking my gun and locking the door. Following the screaming to cell block D.

Watching everyone run out, screaming.

I shot at some, and helped some of them get out.

When it was over, when the googlies were dead, they're families took the bodies to be buried.

Dr. S, looked to the bodies, it's some sort of flu moves fast, and kills quickly.

The councils having a meeting, I just sit there. Listening, wondering, thinking.

"We have to separate everyone that's been exposed."

"How do we know who's been exposed? That could be everyone? That could be you or me or...Is there any signs?" I asked looking to Hershel.

"We can't wait and see, theres children, people die and they become a threat." Carol said.

"We need a place for them to go, they can't stay in D." Hershel said.

"Cell block A is the only clean one." I say.

"Death row?" Glen said.

"It's clean that's better then...that's all we got." I say.

"Think that'll work for Dr. S?" Daryl asked.

"I'll help Caleb get it set up-"

Suddenly there was coughing.

We all got up and looked to see Karen coughing.

I looked away, damn.

"We're gonna have to call another meeting." Hershel said, as Karen was put in another cell.

"Uh huh." I said nodding my head.

Sometime I go outside and I see Rick setting the pen on fire, where the pigs were in.
But I also see Rick giving Carl his gun.

I go to him, when Carl leaves.

"We'll watch him."

Rick looks to me.

"Carl. I'll make sure he doesn't. I'll watch out, can't let anything ruin puppy. The name wouldn't work otherwise." I say.

Rick nods.

"We have to. I almost lost him."

"An he bounced back. Hell we'll just continue to do this. Take it away, give it back, anything." I say.
