The next day dawned and we all were gathered in Teddy's room as Andy checked him over. He was still in his sleep but his temperature had gone down a little. After a series of tests she turned towards us and smiled slightly saying "We don't need to worry. He is not a werewolf but he will experience those symptoms on a full moon since his father was one."

We nodded and Harry and me looked at each other. Harry suddenly said "Actually Remus was extra cautious and left a diary on his days near to the full moon in case Teddy faces the same problem as him." I left and searched the attic and brought it down. We all gathered around it and read the few tips he wrote.

Chocolate was compulsory and he preferred rare meat. And he would prefer to stay warm with many blankets wrapped around him. Dark places would be best since his eyes were sensitive at that time. I remembered Bill Weasley who was attacked by Greyback. Fleur once told that he craved for red meat.

I sighed and caressed Teddy's hair which was brown like his dad's. He looked remarkably like Remus at that moment except his tiny nose and ears which were Dora's. He rolled over and opened his eyes groggily to see us and he smiled and called out "Mama Ivy."

I laughed and picked him up cooing "Good morning Little Teddy." Harry took him from me and continued to entertain him. Later Teddy fussed while we all were ready to leave for school. I wanted to stay back but I knew I had to talk to Maxwell today about his past. The dreams were disturbing me and I couldn't take it anymore.

So as soon as I got down from my bike I walked towards Maxwell who smiled and hugged me. I hugged him back and said "Come to the forest at the back. We need to talk ." He nodded in confusion and followed me into the woods. We stopped at a clearing and I leaned against a tree.

Max stood near me and asked "What is it Ivy?" I sighed and started "Max I would like to know about your past. How your life was before you turned. You practically know Everything about me but I don't know anything about you." He sat down and the sun rays peeked through the canopy falling on him.

He shone like diamonds and I was mesmerized and sat down beside him. He started "I was born in 1841 in New Orleans. I was a single child and ours was a respectable family in those times. I loved travelling a lot and often used to wander . Once I travelled for many months and reached Chicago.

It was a beautiful place and I stayed there for an year. There I met Irene Ashton. It was at a library and she was browsing through the books in the top section. I was wandering the aisles and didn't look at the ladder on which she was standing and bumped into it.

She fell on me and that was the first time I was attracted to a girl. From there we started talking and slowly that attraction converted into love. And then the civil war broke out. I had to go to fight and she fell sick as she had a weak health. She was in the hospital all covered in tubes and I wanted to be beside her.

But I received summons that my parents were in danger. I promised her that I would come back after saving them and then she would be cured and we would live happily. But it was too late. I reached and my parents were already dead and while I was taking them back I was attacked and converted into a vampire. I couldn't go back and I didn't know what happened to her."
