Back at the academy, Luther held a family meeting. "The world is ending in three days," Luther told his family. "Three days?" Allison asked, as she handed Luther a cup of coffee. "That's what Five said," Luther replied. "The old bastard did mention the apocalypse when the three of us were at some lab. Come to think of it, he just left out the part about how soon," Klaus spoke up. "But can we trust him?" Allison asked. "I don't know if you've noticed but Fives a little," Allison added, as she made the 'im crazy' sign. Klaus chuckled. "Our little psycho," Klaus said in response. "Two actually," Klaus added. "Two?" Diego asked. "Yeah (Y/n)," Klaus responded. "Wait so she was here the whole time?" Diego asked. "Yeah. She was at your place when you yelled out how he was dragging her with him," Luther said. "Well technically he is," he added. "Why is she even following along?" Diego asked. "I don't know. I think they're dating though," Klaus responded. "I thought they were already dating," Allison pitched in. "Guys let's stay focused here!" Luther told them. "Five sounded convincing. If he wasn't trying to stop an apocalypse from happening then those lunatics wouldn't be chasing him," Luther blurted out. "That's why they were after him?" Diego questioned. "Yeah," Luther responded. "What did Five even see?" Allison asked. "More like what does (Y/n) see in Five," Klaus corrected. They all stared at him and then ignored it. "Uh apparently we all fought together against whoever was responsible. Oh and (Y/n) didn't wake up till that day," Luther explained. "How is that even possible?" Allison asked. "I don't know," Luther replied. The room was filled with silence. Suddenly, Luther stood up and walked in front of them. "Okay so here's the plan. We go through dad's research—" Luther began. "Wait what?" Allison interrupted. Everyone quickly started to deny that plan. "Hold on, hold on," Allison said. "Wait a tick, wait a tick, wait a tick. What about what happened the first time around?" Klaus asked, getting everyone's attention. "Yeah. What are you not telling us?" Diego asked, agreeing with Klaus. "Come on big boy. Spit it out," Diego demanded. Luther sighed. "We died," he responded before taking a sip of his coffee. "What was that?" Allison asked. Luther cleared his throat. "I said uh we died," Luther confirmed. Everyone was in silenced with shocked faces.

Meanwhile, Five, (Y/n), and the Handler were walking the commission building. Five's hand interlocked with (Y/n)'s as they walked along side the Handler. "I must admit number Five, in all the time that I've been here I've never met someone quite like you," the Handler stated. "Hazel and Cha-Cha for example. Are talented, certainly, but they can't see the big picture. Your spunk, your enterprising spirit, well it reminds me a great deal of myself, if I may be so vainglorious," the Handler blurted out. "If things work out for the both of you here, you guys could potentially make two fine successors," the Handler stated. (Y/n) looked unimpressed as Five didn't seem to be paying attention.

The three entered the building. "I'd like to discuss the logistics of my family's safety at your earliest convenience. As well as this body replacement," Five pointed out, as the three walked up the stairs. Five, who still holding (Y/n)'s hand, walked up the stairs a bit faster, dragging the girl along. "Slow down Five. All in good time. In fact, now that you've finally agreed to come back and work for us, as well as (Y/n), we've got all the time in the world," the Handler told him. She led the two into a different room. "The Commission works in support of a delicate balance between the timeline of events and mankind's free will. The briefcase is not longer part of your kit Five. Free your mind. You're in management now," the Handler told the thirteen year old. "One of us," she added. "All the people on this floor are case managers. Each one responsible for one major event at a time," the Handler told the two as she motion towards the room. "So many of them," (Y/n) commented. "Impressive isn't it?" the Hanlder asked. "Being part of something, so grand. Come along," she said. "Whenever someone chooses the wrong path, and the timeline is changed, the Commission gets a report from field agents on the ground. These field reports are sorted and assigned to a case manager. They determine if anyone needs to be removed from the equation to assure that their event happens as it should," she told the two. They were now a different room. "Based on that determination, the case manager sends instructions via pneumatic tube to temporal assassins like you formerly were Number Five. Any queries so far?" the Handler asked. "Yeah. Who was the case manager handling me?" Five questioned. "Ah. You mean the apocalypse," the Handler figured. She guided the two, who were still holding hands, into another room. "Five meet dot," the Handler introduced. "Oh hi," Dot greeted. "Dot is responsible for all apocalypse matters. In fact, it was Dot here who first flagged your appearance in 2019," the Handler informed. "No hard feelings," Dot said with a smile on her face. "Well you certainly put us through the ringer. Outsmarting two of our so-called best temporal assassins," the Handler told Five. "If that doesn't spell leadership material!" the Handler shouted out. "I just don't know," She added. "I suspect, you like a challenge Five," the Handler said, as she motioned to the desk. "Which is why I've given you a particularly complex first case," she added, as she gave Number Five a folder. "It's too bad Joseph Späh decided against sabotaging the fuel tank. It would've been so much easier," the Handler stated. "Anyhoo, if you have any questions, I'll be right behind you," the Handler said. She then turned to look at (Y/n) who was standing next to Five. "Let's go Eight," She told her. "What?" Five asked. The Handler turned to look at him. "She won't be in management. I believe that her powers are useful and won't be needed in this category," the Handler explained. (Y/n) was ready to go with the Handler, before Five stopped her. "I don't think that was mentioned," Five argued. "Well, surely you couldn't think that (Y/n) was going to be in management. She's far more useful," the Handler mentioned. Five sighed. "Give us a moment," He said. "1 minute," the Handler told him. He quickly dragged (Y/n) away from the room.
