"Aiden help me out with the roof cleaning" Everybody present in Wired heard Barry's voice and Aiden groaned, mumbling a few profanities as he hurried towards the stairs.
"Um Katie?" he looked at her before going upstairs.
"Yeah?"
"We'll stay in touch. I'll call you" He said and Katie smiled, nodding.
"Yup, now go fast!"
Katie chuckled as she remembered her days of working here. Her coffee cup was empty by now. Let's go home.
Being the barista there, she knew the prices of all the drinks and knowing Barry, he wouldn't even change them. But still to crosscheck she looked at the brand new menu card placed on the table. Ahhh, I was right! I always am!
She dug in her pockets but she had forgot to get money. Groaning, she got up and walked up to the counter.
"Um hey? Put my drink on the house, yeah?" she asked the tall girl.
"Um sure! By the way, Katie Cooper, right? Your 'cookie crook' keeps on talking about you the whole day! And um myself Jade-Jade Radford " The brunette said with a smile.
"Oh really! That's um-sweet" Katie said awkwardly and exited Wired, waving at Jade.
