JENNIE GLANCED AT TAEHYUNG who was concentrated on reading their english book that was in front of him. She shifted her gaze catching the eyes of the librarian who shook her head as she kept a watchful eye on them. Jennie quietly sighed already expecting the long talk she was going to have with her father once news of her hanging out with Taehyung got out.
"Oh my god, Abigail is such a lying little shit." Taehyung suddenly stated as he read a couple of lines from the crucible. How could a young girl be so cunning for an already married man?
Jennie laughed at his comment. "Well, greed and love make people do ridiculous things." She replied pushing her notebook in front of him. "So do you think these notes are good enough for Mrs. Keller?"
Taehyung looked at her notebook briefly analyzing her neatly written notes that had a good thesis statement. "Yeah, they're great! Do you always write your examples like that?" He asked earning a confused stare from Jennie.
"Of course why?" She responded.
"So why does Mrs. Keller always mark it with C's." He voiced recalling how their English teacher would always scold Jennie for her work in front of the whole class.
Realizing that Taehyung was a bit lost about her grades Jennie lightly scoffed. "Apparently I don't put enough emphasis on my writing. It doesn't matter anyway." She said hoping he would move on. Noticing how quiet Taehyung got she bit her tongue trying to think of a new topic to talk about. "Are you nervous for next week's game?"
Energy suddenly sprung into Taehyung's coffee-colored eyes. "Nope! Coach Henderson is making us try new drills and formations and they're working. Totally think we're finally gonna beat those christian kids." He excitedly told her making Jennie smile at his enthusiasm. "You're gonna come watch right?"
Jennie's heart stopped for a brief moment as her eyes widen at his question. Was she? She never really planned on going after all school events weren't exactly her thing. And the amount of people that would be there would be too overwhelming for her. "Umm... I'm not sure yet." Her delayed response made Taehyung a bit sad.
Taehyung's lips pulled in a frown and his eyes started to water, "Please promise me you'll come this one time." He begged giving her such a pitiful look. What a schemer.
Jennie slightly pushed herself back hesitant to even give in to his request. "I don't think I can, sorry." She muttered.
Taehyung shook his head understanding how uncomfortable she was beginning to feel. "It's okay but if you ever change your mind I'll be looking for you." He said giving her his infamous box smile.
