The chatter of the adults started as the music quieted down. The people talked to themselves as they looked at the children, all wondering who would be the star of the dances. 

The nobles pushed their children to go look for dance partners and the children obliged. 

"May I ask for this dance?" A boy asked Lily shyly, stumbling a bit on his words. He had outstretched his hands towards Lily with a slight bow. "You may." Lily answered with a small smile as she held the boys extended hand making the boy excited.

The boy grabbed Lily's waist and with the other, he held her hand. Lily had her hand on his shoulder and the other, which held his hand. 

The boy looked nervous yet determined making Lily chuckle a bit. Kids were adorable according to her, well, anyone but Neo.

Lanai was very, very excited for the dance. She could not wait to show off her new dancing skills. She looked around for someone worthy of her skills when suddenly, from behind her she heard. 

"May I have this dance?" The boy was shinning brighter than anyone there, he shone so bright Lanai had to blink many times to adjust to the light. The boy was non other than the crown prince, Leona. 

"Yes! Ahem, yes you may." Lanai answered. She was excited, she found the best partner. There could be no other that would match her steps better than the crown of the kingdom. 

Leona started shining brighter, with a bright smile full of excitement he held the out stretched hand of Lanai. 

With their bodies now touching they held their hands similar to Lily and the boy. They waited for the music to start to show off her skills. Along with the bright crown prince. Lily was sure they would win, one was shining bright star while the other being the sea's princes? And they were both talented? Fuck yes.

Neo was nervous. Seeing the people around him all getting dates made him more and more aware how it'll be his turn soon. While others were excelling in the dancing department, Neo was failing. He could not learn dancing too well as he kept messing up. 

Noah's training was another factor on why he could not train dancing. Since, he was always fucking injured and needed rest. 'That goddamn bitch.' Neo cursed Noah. 

He would have chosen Leona since the crown prince was the only one who would never judge you if you failed and would instead help you. But, Leona had already gone with Lanai. 

Another sibling to curse it seems. 

Neo looked wearily at the people about to approach him to ask for a dance. "Hu.." He sighed. 'Okay, so, how to run-away?' He thought to himself. 

Suddenly, the crowd started dispersing leaving Neo confused. 'Why are they moving? Making way? For who?-' He was thinking to himself, making theories on who it could be. 

'The crown prince is already taken, then.. the twins?- Never mind, they're also both taken.. Hm..' Neo wondered who it could be that could make a crowd of high-ranking nobles could disperse. Neo looked ahead after giving up guessing, he could just see it for himself. 

Neo's eyes widened in surprise, he had never thought the boy would show up. And, seeing Neo's expression the boy that was heading towards Neo only smirked wider. 

The boys white hair swayed along the wind catching some of the crowd in aw. His purple eyes shone brightly lightning the haul. His clear white skin that was shining made him look ever more beautiful that the crowd couldn't help but be caught in an never-ending trance. 

He neared Neo when suddenly the light went off making Neo even more baffled. Suddenly though, His arm was garbed and he was pulled into someones chest, forcefully. He was about to attack the person until he heard, 

"May I have this dance?" A boy asked flirtatiously.  ".." Neo had no words. 

The lights were now open and directed at the couple of kids who had already found partners. The figure of Neo in the hands of a white haired boy who was smirking with mischief was also included in the many dance partners. 

"You have to take responsibility and, its not like you would have listened if I said 'no'." Neo said in annoyance as he glared at the boy, looking straight at his eyes. This only made Noah chuckles as he held the boy more tightly. 

And, with the music he made his first-step leading the boy into a beautiful illusion. The white haired boy guiding the blue haired one with every-step making it harder to make any miss-steps.

The dance was going wonderfully, Neo had not not made many mistakes yet. However, the ones he made were countered by Noah making them look intentional. He was grateful for that but wouldn't admit to it. 

Suddenly, however, he misplaced his step and almost fell. Just before he was ready for the impact of falling and the embarrassment of the people, the hand on his chest tightened. Pulling him closer to the boy, they were now only inches apart. 

*Ba-dump*

Neo was still in a staring competition with Noah, their eyes locked with each others. No one but the boy holding him was in his eyes right now, this may have seen romantic to the people watching but Neo was in-fact starring daggers at Noah while Noah was just smirking at pissing off the boy.

What no one had noticed but Neo himself was the quickening of his heart and cheeks which held a slight blush, unnoticed because the makeup however. 

'Its only because of the dance..' He said to himself, trying to calm his heart. He just stared at Noah with even more annoyance and a hidden fluster.

*Clap, clap..*

The crowd clapped at the two pair who looked so out-of-this world and inside their own world, where only the two existed. They couldn't help but be drawn to them, their eyes all locking at the pair. It was as if they had stumbled upon two deity's having their dance.
