Chapter Thirteen: Unexpected Feelings

"Kim! Kim! Where are you?!" I shouted as hard as I could, but no use. I sighed in defeat, but kept searching.

"Len? Is that you?" A voice asked. I turned around to see the annoying Marie.

"Oh, it's you." I said and rolled my eyes.

"It's not like I wanted to see you!" Marie said and crossed her arm with frown. "So, do you take back what you said about the timing of the invitation?" I'm clearly pissed right now, my sister is lost and she's asking to take back a matter of fact.

"I won't take it back, who invite people to a resort camp in the damn rain season?!" I angrily shouted.

"Who said it would rain, the weather forecast said it won't rain this week! It's our only break this semester in Seika Academy, I don't want to waste it working or alone! Just why you came, why do have to make my life miserable? What have I done to you?!" Marie shout out loud. It's because...! I like you!

"Because you're a nuisance, that's why you're easy so to bully." I said. It's all your fault I'm like this, if you weren't there I would have been in love with Emma and try to deep our bond just like my mother want to!

"Oh, is that so?" Marie said with hurt tone. Why that expression? I'm the one who's hurt here not you. "Well then, I'm going."

"Don't go." I suddenly blurted what inside my heart, she turned to me with a wide eyes. "I-It's dangerous there."

"... I see." Marie said with a disappointment tone, but then shook her head. "So, did you find Emma and Kim?"

"No, I'm very worried about her." Tom said.

"Why? Sure she's your sister and all, but she's strong." Marie said.

"That's not true, that's why I'm worried, Kim doesn't want her pride to get hurt so she always act tough and independent, the truth she has a weak body and get sick quickly." I said. I sat at a log and cupped my face with my hands and sighed. Marie sat next to me and also sighed. "I'm a horrible brother, if something happened to her then I..."

"Don't worry, I'm sure we will find her." Marie said and put a hand at my shoulder. "Let's go back, maybe she's back?" I unconsciously nodded my head and went back to the promised spot.

Len POV.

I Hope nothing happened to everyone. I shouldn't have came here. I remember the file that Ren gave it to me. It was not even a file. It's a threatening message. I'm not surprise since a lot of people want to take over the Jefferson group and I'm the heir. I didn't want to Ren to feel insecure so I quickly kicked him out.

He's so cute when he says mama. What type of guys in this age says mama?

Suddenly I hear a voice in the bushes, I quickly took defensive mood ready to attack, when a head popped up I was about to attack, but stopped. "L-Len?"

"Oh, it's you Ren, I thought you were— never mind, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was looking for Emma and Kim, this is my way, I'm good at following directions, so I don't think I got lost." Ren said and I pat his head.

"I guess the road we took led us to each other." I said, for some reasons Ren blushed and look at the ground. He's so innocent, for some reasons he reminds of Rina, but no way they are the same person. If they are I don't know what to do. I hugged him tightly trying to shake off that feeling.

"L-Len?!" Ren called my name in surprise.

"Ren you'll never lie or betray me, right?" I asked, Ren hugged me back.
