"I quit, you won fair and square" Goku replies
"What, are you serious" Cell asked
"Yep deadline serious" Goku reassures
"No one can defeat cell... what the hell is he doing" Vegeta asks
"He knows he can't win, and he thinks one of us can" Bael replies with a serious look
"Well can I decide who goes next?" Goku asked
"Yea fine just make it quick or I won't hesitate to destroy the entire Solar system with a single Kamehameha" Cell threatens
"Who is he talking about, no one else can even come close to cell" Krillin says
"If the person I choose can't beat you there'll be no one left to fight you, this next match will decide the outcome of the cell games, but after fighting you I'm sure that he will win" Goku says
"Huh?" Cell says with utter confusion
"That's why I'm leaving it all up to him" Goku says
"Are you trying to say he's stronger then both of us?" Cell asks
"Yep!" Goku says with a dumb smile
"Tell us, who is this made up warrior of yours?" Cell asks impatiently
"Gohan, it's your turn" Goku says
Everyone on the battle field is in shock everyone except Bael he's just standing there like he knew this was gonna happen
"What did you say?" Vegeta asks while being completely stunned
"What the hell is he thinking, he is just going to watch his son die" piccolo asks
At Mt Paozu
"Gokus doing WHAT!" Chi chi screams in horror
At capsule corp
"He's really going to do this?" Roshi asks
"Do what, let his kid die, Goku you idiot" Bulma responds
Back at the Cell games arena
"You really want me to fight cell?" Gohan asks
"Gohan, can you do it?" Goku replies with a question of his own
"Are you kidding me? Was he really talking about Gohan" Cell asks
"I know that he's gotten much stronger but this is cell! You said that you didn't stand a chance against him." Piccolo says
"Gohan you were watching right? Use what you've seen and that power that lays dormant to defeat Cell, you've got more potential and latent power then all of us Gohan." Goku says
"But neither of you were fighting all out were you?" Gohan asks
"I don't know about Cell but I was fighting as hard as I could, did it seem to you that I was holding back?" Goku asks
"Is that true Gohan?" Piccolo asks
"Y-yes"
"That brat must be lying." Vegeta says
"Bring back peace into this world you can do it Gohan, you do want to be a famous scholar right?" Goku asks
"Alright, I'll do my best" Gohan replies
"You can do this Gohan there's definitely no pressure" Bael says and then is hit with a slap from Caulifla
"Shut up Bael." She says
"Fine sorry"
After this Gohan takes off his cape and prepares to start the showdown with the evil Cell
"Krillin do you have and sensu, can you hand me one" Goku asks
"Huh.. um sure!" Krillin replies
"Thank you, Cell have a sensu bean" Goku says while throwing the bean
Bael tries to blow the bean up but it reaches cell before he can react
"What the hell are you doing" Bael asks
"Cells very exhausted, I wanted it to be a fair fight" Goku replies
"I get it now, it will all make sense soon" Bael says
"Goku what you did was insane" piccolo says
"Piccolo calm down it will all work out" Bael says realising why Goku did it
"No it's not okay, you are defending him whilst he is risking his own sons life for a fight" Caulifla says
"Just trust me" Bael says
Gohan then powers up and prepare to face down for the fate of the Universe
