I wake up to a light kiss on my forehead, I open my eyes and look at Thorin.
"Hey" I say
"Hey" He says and kisses me
"Look I'm sorry about yesterday, it wasn't fair to you that I was such a wreck and made life harder on you. I am so sorry, you deserve better than me"I say crying.
He pulls me close "No, you are perfect. I love you, it will always be you. Always" He says and kisses me.
"I love you Thorin Oakenshield" I say
"I love you Lilja Storm"
I get up and walk into the bathroom and put on a purply-blue dress the is off the shoulder and has leaves on the top and sleeve cuffs, the back does up with green ribbons. I do my hair the same way I did the night of the banquet and put on my black boots and my rings and necklace and walk out to Thorin who is now dressed.
He smiles at me "You look gorgeous amralime" He says
"Thanks" I say shyly.
"No need to be shy with me love, you're perfect" He says and kisses me.
Thorin leads me to a balcony that views the palace gardens, I smile at him.
"It's beautiful" I say he nods.
"Yeah it is" He says
"I love you" I say
"I love you, can I ask you something?" He asks
"Of course my love"
He gets down on one knee and pulls out this gorgeous ring, I start to tear up a bit.
"Lilja, I have loved you since the day I laid eyes on you, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, I will love you forever and always. Will you marry me?" He asks
"Yes, Thorin, yes" I say crying, he puts the ring on my finger and I hug him he lifts me off my feet and spins me around I laugh. He kisses me passionately.
"I love you sanzeuh" He says kissing my shoulder.
"I love you too" I say putting my face into his chest, smiling.
"Let's go tell the others the good news" He says smiling at me
"Alright" I say smiling.
We gather our friends in the great hall, they look at us confused as to what is going on. I smile at Thorin.
"We have some news" I say
"What is it?" Fili and Kili ask eagerly
"We are engaged" Thorin says, I show them my ring, they burst into cheers, hugging us and each other. Dis looks slightly uncomfortable. Thorin turns to her.
"What's the matter Dis?" Thorin asks
"Nothing, just is a shock is all" She says
"Well I think it's brilliant" Kili says
"Me too!" Fili says
"Thanks boys" I say and hug them, they then hug their uncle.
"I'm happy for you my dear" Gandalf says and hugs me
"Thank you Gandalf" I say
"Thorin, I expect you to take great care of her, she is after all like my daughter" He says to Thorin
"Of course Gandalf" Thorin says
Later
I lay down on the bed face first totally exhausted after a long and exciting day, Thorin laughs at me, I turn and look at him, he is removing his shirt.
"Don't laugh at me Thorin Oakenshield! I'm tired!"I say, he laughs again and lays down next to me and kisses my nose.
"Sleep, I love you Lilja" He says
"I love you too" I say and drift off to sleep in his arms.
