Sadly I was home alone once again. Jermy didn't return to the house like I asked and Elena most likely went out with her friends. Knowing them they were going to the bonfire that was tonight much to my distaste.
I knew my siblings, Jeremy was most likely going to get more drugs and pin after Vicky and I hated it. I often thought about entering Vicky's mind and making her leave Jeremy alone but that was an extreme invasion of privacy and it didn't sit well with me. Sighing I got in my car and drove to the bonfire. First thing I noticed was Elena talking with the new guy and no Jeremy
Grabbing a drink I wangled around trying to find him. I knew Elena would be fine. She had more sense then their drugged up brother but I still worry about the pair. Just as I was about to call it a night there was a scream
I instantly ran through the crowd that formed to see Jeremy hovering over a passed out Vicky."what happened" I questioned
"I don't know, something bit her I think" with that I instantly checked her neck where blood was still coming out. Matt had showed up and kneeled down beside me
"Is she gonna be ok" he had tears in his eyes probably already think the worst
"She should be, I'm stopping the bleeding but we need an ambulance " everything else was fuzzy. I remember Vicky getting taken away on an ambulance and driving my siblings home but what stood out the most was when I looked at Stephen. He had a knowing look in his eyes and that when I also noticed his ring
He was a vampire that much I knew. I knew he didn't attack the girl considering he was with my sister but he knew something and I was going to find out who exactly did this tomorrow. They were a danger to my family and I will be dammed it I loose anyone else because of a vampire off the rails.
With that I thought in mind I made sure my siblings were sleep along with Jenna before doing a barrier spell on the house. No one with ill intentions could enter without my invitation. My job was to protect my family and I'll be dammed if I allow anyone to hurt us again.
