Chapter 4:Meetings

Morning came quicker than I would have liked. Knowing now that vampires were now in town I knew for sure Stephen were a vampire. What I didn't know was who was attacking people and why was Stephen protecting him or her. I was determined to find out today no matter what.

I quickly got ready for school before going downstairs "Lena and Jer we are talking after school you both better show up cause this talk is long overdue" I didn't wait for a respond and quickly left For school. I knew Lena will let jer ride with her and I had things to do.

It didn't take me long to reach the school and find Stephen who seemed to be waiting for my sister at the door.

"We need to talk" I snapped pulling him into an empty classroom

"If this is about me hanging around Elena-"

"This is about your out of control pet that's attacking people" I snapped. I won't someone who beat around the bush. I needed to know if my family was in danger cause if they were someone would have to leave or simply just die

"Pet?" Stephen looked completely confused but I knew he was faking it.

"You honestly think I'm stupid?" I could feel my magic rising inside of me. I wanted so bad to put him in his place"I know your a leach and I know your protecting whoever is attacking people" he went to respond only for me to glare at him, I hated getting interrupted

"If I think for a second that my friends and family are in danger I'll end you first and whoever else your protecting this is your only warning" I let my eyes flash red while red mist flowed around my body

To say he was surprised would be an understatement. I could even see the small flicker of fear in his eyes

"I understand and I have him under control"

"Who is he" I was curious of course. Was it a lover?

"My brother"

Rolling my eyes I made the mist go away. It was clear there was some family drama of some sort"if Elena gets hurt you will never see my sister again,I'll deactivate your ring and leave you for dead if so much of a hair is misplaced same goes for jer and friends " with that I turned to leave stopping just before I left the room."relay my threat to you brother too while your at it, I don't give second chances" with that I left to go to class

The was rest of the day went pretty smoothly and next thing I knew I was home staring down both Lena and Jer who luckily didn't seem high

"First things first we need to stop with all this fighting we are a family and I understand that we all are grieving but we have to be there for one another" I started watching both of them look down."Lena your not our mother and I know you want the best for us but at the end of the day you need to worry about you, Jenna is here to be our guardian and I'll help but you need to stop trying to control everyone else"

Lena glanced up at me and nodded so I moved on to jer who was already looking at me."jer you might not think I know everything your doing but I do. I got eyes and ears everywhere. I use to smoke, still do sometimes but your overdoing it. I took all the pills in the house including the ones in you stash"

almost instantly did Jeremy stand up in a rage."you went through my stuff, you can't-"

"Shut up and sit down" I snapped. Jeremy instantly sat down knowing if I was mad enough to raise my voice it was a big issue."I watched all summer turn into a junkie, watched you destroy your life over some girl who sleeping with both you and Tyler. The only reason she's with you is because you supply her and if you think I'm lying don't give her shit and watch how she leaves you thats not love Jermy. I knew her way longer then you so don't try to tell me I don't know anything cause before you even met her I even slept with her. She an easy lay that's all she is"

I watched Jeremy look away with tears in his eyes"we need to be a family. We are all we have left can you guys understand that"

"Your right, I'll work on myself and stop bothering you guys" Lena was the first one to agree as she sent me a small smile before leaving the room.

Jer on the other hand just stared at me before sighing "I'm sorry, Ill try to stay off the drugs and away from Vicki" with that he also left to go back to his room

"You are way better at parenting then I am" turning around I couldn't help but smile at Jenna who stood at the door"any tips?"

"Nah I just said the first thing that came to mind oh and put some feeling into it" I joked

"Wonderful notes kid. Let's watch t.v and drink"

"Drinking with a minor how scandalous " I mused flipping through the the channels of the t.v before settling on supernatural

"I won't tell if you won't plus I'm sure your the one who stole my wine yesterday"

"To be fair.......I have nothing to say " with that we both turned to watch t.v while drinking whatever we had access too. I didn't know what will happen to my family all I can hope is that they actually listened to what I have said
