"sometimes i find it easier to hide my emotions then to confess them to someone i love as much as you"
the blonde girl woke up to the soft hums of her fellow companion Eddie munson. She felt the slow burn of twigs and stones digging onto her side as she lay on the forest floor, the smell of damp wood and rain flooded her nose as she began to properly wake up. she rubbed her eyes getting rid of the sleep in her eyes, quickly yawning before getting up, her necklaces covered in small pieces of wood she began to dust off. she pushed herself to her feet, suddenly feeling dizzy at how fast she got up grabbing eddies shoulder to stable herself.
"hey woah are you okay" concern laced his voice as he watched the girl in-front of him stumble trying to stand straight putting her hand to her head to try and reduce the pain
"yeah sorry, I just got up way too fast" she complained as she began to regain composure
"you sure your okay" Eddie asked making sure the blonde was definitely okay, earning a small hun of confirmation back. "I uhm... I don't want to pressure you or anything but can we talk about... you know, us? Only because everyone's going to be here soon and I don't want things to be confusing between us still." he whispered fiddling with his hands in embarrassment and hope
"I uhm.. I guess we have to talk about it eventually" she sighed a deep exhale coming out of her mouth. an awkward silence filled the forest as the two teens thought about what exactly to say.
"so uhm.. what exactly are we..?" the curly haired boy questioned praying for the girl to say something other then friends.
"we're just friends who kiss sometimes" she spoke not knowing what else to say. It's not like they had officially asked one another if they could date all they were in labels were friends
"so we're just friends" the munson boy chuckled more in disbelief then in laughter
"well yeah, literally nothing has happened that means otherwise" she spoke her eyebrows furrowing at the boys tone not knowing what he was trying to say
"nothing has happened hm? so what happened to the kissing, the cuddling what happened to all of that?!" he began to raise his voice making the girl begin to cower away
"that means nothing Eddie it was just whatever! it just happened in the moment!" she shouted pushing the tears back, refusing to cry
"it just happened in the moment! wow Alyssa what the hell!" he yelled making the girl sniffle in both anger and sadness
"You can't be blaming this all on me surely! you haven't done anything about us either Eddie! I've been the one to kiss you almost every time! If anything your more of a coward then I am dude! You haven't done anything and all of a sudden it's my fault because I haven't put a label on us!" She began to shout quickly getting up dusting of her clothes before walking into the woods. As much of an unsafe idea it was she couldn't stand being near the munson boy anymore
