Am I upside down?
Or am I right side up?
No matter how you tell me
It will never be enough
You're scared to fall down to the ground
So rely on your balance to catch you
But what happens when you're out of tune?
And the vertigo threatens to destroy you
World spinning, spiraling, escalating
Increasingly difficult to stand upright
Images blending, mixing, blurring
Completely impossible to sustain height
Waning consciousness and nonexistent conviction
Will things ever be the same again?
Or am I doomed to remain in this blender?
I cannot be certain
Terror resides within me
I can't remain this way
Vertiginous swirling, twirling, curling
My unsteady mind is blank
