Seems to be a darkness
The hero didn't see coming
It started with an imperceptible sound
Then drew to an overpowered drummingBells tolled of the misfortune to come
In the cloudy skies of Manhattan
The people must've known nothing
Because nobody ranJust the killer in the shadow of the world
He rose to the tallest building he found
Not a soul did ring the warning
The hero fell without a soundSilence became of the hero that fell
His followers looked down in awe
The killer purged the world of good
And the crows overhead cawed
