Did she take and leave you broken?
Did she abandon you to suffer?
I would help you but I won't
Or correct her tendencies to smother
Did she fill your heart for a time?
Did she cancel out the blows?
I would take you but I won't
Let the time pass by so slow
Are you hurt by her lack of compassion?
Did she bring you to your knees?
I would hold you but I won't
Let you wither in the breeze
Did she blind you with her nightmares?
Did she frequently complain?
I would save you but I won't
Let you slowly go insane
Did she stab you in the eyelids?
With her perpetual coldness
I would love you but I won't
Let you drown in ardent stress
Are you I'll from all the torture?
From the kisses that are thorns
I would kiss the wounds but I won't
Let you struggle under scorn
Did you finally see the night sky?
As it drowns out the sun
I'd surrender but I won't
Let you flee away and run
Did you see that Armageddon?
On the south side of the sea
I would let you die in peace
But that is just no fun for me
