When you're feeling blue
And you can't escape
And your old bones
Are in terrible shape
You can take my hand
I'll lead you away
To shinier start
To a better day
When you were young
You felt alive
Now that you're not
You're cold inside
You need a talk?
To atone your sins
You need my help?
Well now that depends
To get what you need
You must let yourself go
Prove to the world
And out on a show
Explain to them all
That you're not who they say
Live a little bit
And give everyday
Send a message to all
Put faith in their hearts
That thought it was hard
To try to restart
Cause everyone knows
That when your time's up
You regret all those times
You were never enough
And when I look in the mirror
The mirror of the future
I see you by a window
And my heart bears exposure
I never did enough
And it is quite a shame
When our portraits are together
We are one and the same
