We're "just friends"

Zoey 's pov

Today was an horrible day, like always, i'm starting to think that the problem is Jackson. We are together by two years and my mood changed a lot. I like him, he's so hot and never yells back at me. Today i will do him a surprise waiting for him at the park. I am the same girl he knew, just a bit bitchy and more popular and a bit moody.

I sat on the bench and saw Jock, an old friend of mine, he was dating a nerdy girl named Mae.

I came to him and asked:

"Hey Jock, what are you doing here?"

"Spying my girlfriend"

"She seems pretty happy and i'm sure that i am not the reason"

"What are you doing here anyway?"

"I'm waiting for my boyfriend"

"Cool, from when are you two dating? "

"Two years, you?"

"Me too!!"

"Wow"

"Yeah"

I saw Jackson outing from the milkshake shop.

"That's my boyfriend" i said to Jock. He smiled and i smiled back, then his face turned serious.

"Mae?" He asked confused.

I turned around for see a girl with Jackson.

"What is your girlfriend doing with my boyfriend?"

"I don't know, let's go" he said taking my hand.

"No! Let's see what happen"

"You're right"

" Thank you for the awesome day" she said to him. He smiled. Their eyes locked with each others and i saw into Jackson's eyes something new. A new feeling, something he never felt for me. His eyes were shining of a beautiful light. I felt surprised.
Jock' s pov

Mae was smiling, her eyes were shining of a beautiful light, the light that i only saw when she was with Albert. I felt a bit hurted.

"You're welcome" he said kissing her hand. She blushed a little.

"Are you free tomorrow?"

"No, but i am free all the next week"

"Perfect, see you around"

"Yeah, i will call you"

They hugged and went in different ways. I ran after Mae while Zoey went after her boyfriend.

" Who was him?"

"What? You spied me?! How could you!?"

"Who is that guy?"

" Jackson and we're just friends!"

"Yeah, so why you blushed?"

"Because i was embarassed"

" And that look in your eyes? That smile?"

"You're so jealous, i was just talking to a friend"

"Okay, i want to trust you"

"Whatever"
Zoey' s pov

"Who is she?"

"The girl you were talking to the park"

"Did you follow me?"

"No, i wanted to surprise you"

"She is just a friend"

"I wouldn't tell it by the way you look at her"

He rolled his eyes.

"You never been jealous, why you want to play like you are now? She is just a friend. We are just friends"

"I'm sorry, i overacted"

"I don't care, you always do it, you never trust me!" He yelled, got into the car and drove to his house.
Mae' s pov

I called Jackson.

"Hey"

"Hey"

"What's wrong?"

" How do you know that something is wrong?"

"By your voice"

"I want to break up with Zoey"

"Why?"

" She saw me with you"

"Oh, but we were just talking"

"I know, is she that always gets mad at me for everything"

"I understand you, Jock did the same thing"

"I think you should break with him"

"I think it too"

"See you tomorrow?"

"Sure"

We hanged up together.
Mae and Jackson' s pov

What are we? Friends? Because i like you, i think that we will be more like lovers.
