Jalen's POV
"Bruh it's two in the morning whatchu calling me for?" I said putting my phone up to my ear.
"I need someone to pick me up." Asia said.
I sighed. "Where you at?"

3:33am
"Why was you out here so late?" I asked Asia.
Asia was a friend from senior year. After the whole Jasmine situation I became friends with her and her brother Aaron.
"My brother claims he forgot to pick me up from work so I was there for like two hours waiting for him." She said.
"Where he at?" I asked and she shrugged.
"Probably with the bitch he met yesterday." She said.
"I could take you to my house but my brother coming over tomorrow with my niece." I said.
"I'll probably be gone by then." She said and I nodded.
A couple minutes passed and they were finally at Jalen's house.
"Uh you can take that room right there." He said and she nodded.
"There's a closet with some extra clothes too. I ain't wear em yet." Jalen said.
"Thank you." She said softly with a smile and I nodded.
"I'm going back to bed." I said walking back to my room.
"Goodnight Jalen." She said.
"Goodnight Asia." He said back and shut the door.
The next morning Jalen was woken up to the smell of bacon and pancakes.
"Ouu." He said stretching.
He went to the kitchen and saw Asia making breakfast.
"Shit I didn't mean to wake you up." She said turning the stove off.
"Nah you good." I said sitting down. "You got some for me?"
"Yea I have enough." She said putting some on a plate for me.
"Thank you." I said already eating.
"Damn I ain't even out the whole plate down yet." She said and I laughed.
"This shit good as hell." I said.
"I know." She smiled.
"You got more?" I asked.
"More for me." She laughed eating her eggs.
I sucked my teeth.
"You didn't finish your whole plate anyways." She said I looked down at all the food I still had on the plate.
"Oh right." I smiled and she laughed.
We ate and talked for a while until the doorbell rang.
"I lost track of time." I said and her eyes widened as she saw my brother at the door.
"I'll go now." She said getting up.
"Just stay your good." I said.
"No I'll go I don't want to interrupt anything." She said washing off her plate.
"Asia your fine." I laughed and she still went upstairs to change.
I shook my head and opened the door.
"Ou it smell good in here." Amari said walking in.
"You got a girl here don't you?" Kaseem said and I ignored his question by eating my last pancake.
"Where Jayla at?" I asked.
"Out." Mari said and I nodded.
"Wait who's that?" She asked and I saw Asia coming down the hallway.
"My friend." I said and Mari smiled.
"Your pretty." She said and Asia smiled.
"You too." She said sitting next to her.
"Who's she? And don't lie" Kaseem whispered walking up to me.
"I told you, My friend." I said and he scoffed.
"Yea right." He said.
"Nigga mind yo business." I mugged him and he laughed.
"Jalen got a girlfrienddd." He laughed walking away and I rolled my eyes putting my plate away.
