st moments that make me cry

contains spoilers from season 4

1. max's memories being show when she's under vecna's curse. i wasn't convinced she was gonna 💀 till then but im so glad she hasnt (vol 2 do not fail me)

2. steve's little surprised look when max hands him a letter 😭😭

3. nancy crying in the bathroom at dinner with barb's parents and steve

4. DUSTIN CRYING BC NO ONE WANTED TO DANCE W HIM. HE PUT IN SO MUCH EFFORT. SADDEST MOMENT IDC.

5. joyce thanking el for helping find will 💔💔 protect this women she was terrified for will but still wanted to make sure el was ok

6. "but please, if you don't mind, for the sake of your poor old dad, keep the door open three inches" .... i will never recover from this one i fear. i need a MINUTE

7. will getting tormented after returning from the upside down and being called zombie boy ... he deserves everything idc

8. will just wanting to play d&d in s3 but lucas and mike not wanting to play ... then joining a d&d club immediately after he moved away. i just know my boy dustin would have played w him. erica too.

9. will's face when mike yells at him saying "its not my fault you don't like girls" uncalled for michael.

10. when nancy talks about her parents marriage. i hated karen for wanting to cheat w billy in s3 in that moment when she walks downstairs to ted and holly .... but when i rewatched s1 i don't blame her go get ur toy boy bae u deserve it.

11. joyce's frustration when no one believed her.

12. joyce realising lonnie wanted money from will's death. and jonathan HEARING.

13. jonathan planning will's funeral by himself 😭 you can get joyce not wanting to but when you look at it from jonathan's view, he lost his brother and thought he was losing his mum to her "delusions" too.

14. steve's parents implied neglect.

15. robin coming out to steve, you could see how scared she was for his reaction

16. billy's childhood. love or hate him, he deserved a better home. him and max could have gotten on so well if it wasn't for ne*l.

17. "she was pretty" that made me BALL when he started crying

18. susan watching ne*l 🤮 hit billy. i get she might have been scared of neil but it was never implied or shown that he was abusive to her or max. sure, he could have been and in that case it's understandable but i honestly don't believe he was. his abuse towards billy was PERSONAL. no one expects her to fight him off but she could have verbally tried to talk him down

19. literally whenever hopper talks about sara.

20. that damn blue hairband.

21. the fact that hopper's wife left him after sara's death. the feelings are understandable on both ends but that doesnt mean its not said. especially in s4 when he says "she didnt blame me. not with words." he blames himself AND thinks she secretly does give my man a break

22. seeing how much the kids have changed between seasons one and four. they're all around my age and yet, i have watched them grow up.

23. nancy being the only one looking for barb or even noticing something was wrong

24. when nancy sees that steve, tommy and carol publicly slut shamed her.

25. steve talking about jonathan's family during their fight in s1. i love him and his development but this and what he did to nancy are just unforgivable

26. steve getting nancy to give jonathan a new camera on his behalf

27. jonathan looking out for will. he's so underrated but i love him sm he's so cute

28. racism towards lucas. troy im looking at u.

29. whenever dustin gets made fun of my anyone but steve.

30. this more so makes me mad but when eleven says mike doesnt get it about her being bullying after he tells her he's literally been bullied his whole life. like ma'am you literally saved him from nearly killing himself to save dustin FROM BULLIES.

31. eleven being rude to max in season 2. give the girl a rest damn

32. nancy finding out barb is dead.

33. everything victor creel. he still thinks his son is innocent. that man loved his family so much 😭😭 ... when he started humming and talking about trying to join them

34. nancy almost crying of frustration over the blatant sexism when she worked for hawkins post and jonathan didnt get it. like u man it's right in front of u.

35. alexi and bob. i will not elaborate.
