"Marinette, wake up, wake up sweetie," my Maman gently shook me as I noticed my surroundings. She had a sweet smile on her face. Then it hit me, TODAY WAS THE DAY. I finally find out if I got in. When I went downstairs my Papa had already made me a lovely breakfast "morning Papa, thanks for the breakfast," she gave me a warm smile and continued to roll the dough. "Zis is delizshous," I said, my mouth stuffed with pancakes. My Maman gave a small chuckle as she squeezed my cheeks. After Goulfing down my breakfast I tapped the table anxiously. My Papa suggested that we play some video games so I sat down  and assured him that I would win.

Hours had passed and I was up in my room, drawing new sketches in my book. I went downstairs to get a cup of orange juice. I was having so much fun that I had had completely forgotten about the interview until...

I heard the sound of The letter box clang.

OH.MY.GOD, IT IS HERE!

I jumped to the floor to grab my letter, my parents following behind me, just as anxious. I made my way into the living room and sat on the sofa my parents looking at me with a smile. "No matter what happens honey, we are proud of you, remember that," my Maman said, Papa nodding silently. I sighed, my hands shaking, and I opened the letter carefully. My eyes scanned the letter reading it out, " Miss Dupain - Cheng,
We have reviewed your interview and we have taken your interview into account and your current talents and situation. We are happy to inform you that...

You have been accepted into our prestigious school... I GOT IN, I GOT IN, AHHHHHHH! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! AHHHHHHH!" I screamed, I was jumping for joy, my parents saying in union " we are so proud of you!! ".They beamed their usual smiles and hugged me tightly. I was literally joking around, I need to tell my friends. I continued to read the last part of the letter, "we are very glad to say, welcome to Ryukku kishuku gakkō," (I completely forgot what I called this school so whatever) I was so happy!

After calming down, I immediately called my friend and asked them to meet up at our usual park. They agreed, eager to find out why. "Hey Mari, what do you need us for?" Chloe asked greeting me with a quick hug, the others waving. "Uhhh, well... I got my results from my interview and-" I was cut off by the noise of Chloe squealing and the rest looking g at me intently. "- I-I I GOT IN!". They took a moment to comprehend what I had just said before Chloe jumped on top of me. I fell onto the grass, the others joining me. They were as happy as I was. "I also have news, well my Daddy managed to secure us places in the school, if we take the offer," (don't ask me how)
My face lit up even more. "Thank you guys, thqnk you so much. This means the world to me. I- you guys dropped your life for me here," I was really grateful. "Nonprobkem and well we don't really have a life here anymore thanks to Lila, you are our friend and we need to support you," Nino explained. He was right though, Lila had taken over our lives. The worst thing is that we have to wait 3 MORE MONTHS. "welm only three more months to go, can't wait!"

We said our goodbyes and I headed home. Once I got my room, I dumped my stuff and got changed out of my clothes. I flopped onto my bed, exhausted by the events of today. Like I do everyday,bi contemplate my day and think about the day ahead. I drifted to sleep peacefully, not  worrying about anything.

But little did she know what these last few month had in store for her.
