Persephone woke up to James.
He was holding her hand tightly , his glasses tilted , hair scruffy but he looked beautiful regardless even whilst sleeping. When the girl tried to sit up however the dizziness had hit her immediately and caused her to groan slightly. This caught James' attention and he instantly was to her aid asking questions like :
"Are you okay?"
"Did i do something?"
"Water?"
"Er Pomfrey? Pomfrey she's not replying , somethings wrong!"
"James i'm fine" Persephone croaked "You just shocked me that's all"
"Oh haha sorry" the boy said running a hand through his hair
"So why am I in the hospital wing?"
"You've been in here for around 2 and a half days Seph I thought-"
"James you're still in here?" Madam Pomfrey interrupted surprised at the boys presence
"Still here?" Persephone teased earning a blush from the boy
"This one hasn't moved from your side Miss , he was very concerned- bugging me every two seconds" she scolded
"You love me really Poppy"
"Can I have water please?" Persephone spoke
"Oh of course dear let me grab you something"
"Seph!!" Jasper burst through the doors at pace
"How the hell did-"
"I can sense it James. Family shit" the boy interrupted
"Nice to see you too Jas" the girl chuckled
"I thought you were going to die at this rate" he exaggerated
"So what did happen?" she then asked her cousin
"Rosier charmed a necklace. Put it on you. You were charmed. You were a bitch to everyone. Which also meant you were kissing Rosier -"
"I kissed him?!"
"Multiple times a day. For a whole week"
"Ew"
"Anyway Rosier got beaten up. Rosier got expelled. We got a few detentions-"
"We?" Persephone quizzed
"Myself , Vinnie , Sirius and Nicholas"
"Nicholas ?!" the girl said stunned
"That is what I said yeah" Jasper said rolling his eyes
"Aw bless him , is he okay?" Persephone asked
"Oh he's fine. Rosier on the other hand , his face ain't lookin too good"
"I can imagine" James piped up
"So where we're you in all this Potter?" the girl questioned
"Right beside you Percy" James replied flashing the girl a smirk
"Cheesy James . Real cheesy" the girl said red tinting her cheeks

"Thank Merlin you aren't dead" Narcissa cheered as the brown skinned girl walked into her defence against the dark arts lesson the following day
"Not yet Cis" the girl chuckled standing next to her blonde friend
"The patronus charm is unique to every individual. Your patronus is symbolic to you and personal. To perform it you will say expecto patronum. Does anyone know an example of when you may use this spell? Yes Miss Evans"
"Against dementors" the ginger answered and gave Persephone a small wave after acknowledging her presence
"Spot on Miss Evans , 5 points to Gryffindor" the professor announced " You may begin"
It was safe to say Persephone struggled. She couldn't wrap her head around the spell which was unusual for the girl who is top in transfiguration and charms.
"Having trouble Percy?" James asked her gently
"It appears so James" she responded
"What is your patronus? Maybe it will inspire me"
James took out his wand and produced a deer that started galloping around the girl , coming close to her and rubbing its nose on hers.
"Wow"
"I learn it a couple years ago. Try to picture your happiest memory a strong one , a very strong one" he explained
"I don't have a 'very' strong one" she thought aloud
"Surely you do Seph" James ushered taking a step behind the girl and placing his hands on her shoulders
" Imagine um , something you like"
The girl let out a loud laugh at his comment "Thanks James that's really helpful" she giggled
"Ugh come on Seph I wanna see it" he said dropping his head to her shoulder , giving the girl goosebumps.
"Er well , it is delayed today sorry"
"Sephy look !" Narcissa squealed as a small blackbird starting gliding across the room pecking people on the cheeks.
"Aw i'm so proud of you" Persephone responded hugging the blonde and covering the disappointment of her own patronus.
"Have you not done yours?" the blonde whispered as the other shook her head
"Aw bubs it's okay" she reassured kissing her cheek and tucking her head into her shoulder
"I'm fine Cissa. My memories just aren't memorable enough" she said releasing herself from her grip
"We have all summer for that Seph. It's only in a couple months" Narcissa stated putting an arm around the girls waist and pulling her in for a second hug
"Come let's go to potions"
Whilst the two girls walked James stood and just simply watched in admiration at the curly haired girl.
"Mate i dont know how many times I have to say this just talk to her" Sirius spoke making the speckled boy jump slightly
"S-sirius is right" Peter spoke
"Oh come it's not that bad . Or obvious" James complained
"Oh it is" Remus then joined wrapping an arm around his boyfriend's shoulder whilst they all started to walk to potions.
"Oh shit" the Persephone muttered as she walked into potions seeing Evan sat in his usual seat head bandaged and scars littered across his face "I can't go in there" she panicked "I thought he was permanently expelled"
"Why no- Oh his parents probably paid the school to let him back in" the blonde paused "Sit next to James i'll take your seat"
"What about-"
"I'll take care of that aswell" Narcissa assured taking a seat next to Evan and getting out her essential equipment glaring at the boy heavily
"No way" Remus lowly said walking into potions
"What?" James asked "Oh?"
