When boarding the train , Persephone went to go sit with her cousins since it was their last train ride home from hogwarts. To no one's surprise the ride always seems quicker on the way back so the group's time was limited.
"We're gonna miss you lot" Jasper said hugging the group
"Yeah" his brother admitted
"Well we should arrange to meet in the summer" Narcissa suggested eyes watering slightly
"Are you cry-"
"Shut up" she stopped wiping her eyes
"Well i'm not going to miss you two" Persephone spoke folding her arms
"Yeah right" the boys said simultaneously pulling her into a tight hug making the girl hug back.
The three stayed like that for a while not wanting to let go of the others embrace.
"Seph!" someone called out from the platform
"Looks like you're attention is wanted elsewhere" Vinnie stated
"It appears so" she sighed
"We'll drag you to ours at some point this summer" Jasper winked sending the girl off
"Seph!" the boy called out again
"I'm coming Nico" she chuckled pulling her luggage across the platform
"I just wanted to say have a nice summer" as he pulled her into a hug
"You too Nic, I'll try and visit I promise" she said as he turned around and headed back towards his parents
"Percy!" another voice called
"Goodness" the girl muttered. This time there was no wait as two boys launched themselves on her causing her to lose her balance .
"Careful" she laughed
"Oh my dear Seph. I just I love you so much" Sirius wiped away I fake tear as he got down on his knees "And to think that we may part" he paused "It breaks my heart and I - Ow"
"Come on Sirius" Remus chuckled "Let's leave them to it" pulling the boy up from his knees and towards Remus' parents
"Hey Seph" James whispered
"Hey James" the girl whispered back
"Have a nice summer" he then said giving the girl a soft kiss to her cheek
"IMARI!" a voice boomed through the platform
"Shit" the girl panicked
"Who's Imari?" James asked confused pulling away from her to get a better look at her reaction
"Me" she mumbled
"What? But-"
"You get your hands off her" the man addressed James ripping his daughter , quite harshly , away from James' embrace
"Ow" the girl hissed holding her arm
"You're hurting her -"
"Imari let's go" he commanded taking the two straight to the Greyback manor
"I don't want to deal with you today. I'm busy" he dismissed her
The girl climbed the stairs and made her way into her room. Lying herself down on her bed and releasing a deep sigh
"Is everything alright Miss" a small voice asked as it knocked on the door
"Randy" the girl perked up
"Yes Miss" the house elf smiled back
"Come in" she opened the door , smile still on her face as the small house elf entered
"How was school miss" he asked excitedly
"It was good. We got to the finals in quidditch" she mentioned
"Oh really!" he exclaimed "Did Miss Persephone win?"
"Unfortunately not Randy" she admitted
"It's alright" the elf said "Miss is amazing at quidditch , she is certain to win next year"
"James would like you Randy" the girl giggled
"Miss Persephone , who is James?"
"A friend of mine that I made this year" she added
"Oo do tell Randy. Randy wants to know" he jumped up in excitement
"Well we met on the train well not really" she corrected "Then when I got into the quidditch team he came to congratulate me" she paused "Then we went to a party. He helped me with potions and we have started hanging out" she shrugged
"Has Miss and Mister James kissed?" Randy asked with wide eyes
"Erm ... yess" the girl replied
"Yay!Yay!Yay!" the house elf cheered jumping on her bed
"Shh! Randy my father may hear you" Persephone chuckled
"Master Greyback has gone to a meeting miss" Randy said still jumping on her bed
"Oh. Well then what shall we do?"
"Isn't Miss going to unpack?" Randy stopped bouncing looking at her luggage
"No , I think it's best to leave at least one suitcase" she admitted since the girl had a gut feeling something wasn't right
"Oh now i think about it. Randy if anything happens send me to this address. Once we get there I can free you" she said
"But i thought that only a Master could free a house elf" Randy questioned taking the bit of paper and tilting his head
"I'm your master too Randy"
"Oo that's nice master Persephone is nice" he nodded to himself
"Yeah" the girl giggled patting the seat beside her and beginning to tell the small elf all about her time at school.
