I was walking through the park with everyone eating ice cream while we walked past a basketball court there was some teens playing on the court so I decided to join, I knew I was a little rusty since I haven't played for over 5 years "okay, okay that was a lucky shot" I say not believing I'm losing to 12 year olds.
(I'm calling it basketball because that's what it is)
I decided to switch out my shoes since I was playing in van's maybe that's what has me loosing. After switching shoes I started playing better with more speed, agility, jumpboost, and no bending.
After playing I beat them in less than 15 minutes "how do you play so good, you're so old" a little kid asked while I put my shoes back on while everyone else snickered "okay I'm not that old I'm less than 10 years older than you and I used to play alot as a kid" I say with a grin on my face "so what do I just practice?" He asked me "that's what I just said basically" I say turning around.
*TIMESKIP*
"Okay but how were you able to do a full 360 and dunk without missing, the kids were your hieght" bolin asked while replicating my movement "okay listen like I said practice I'm not that rusty" I say with a smile before heading to my room knowing that their gonna talk about that all night.

I headed up to the kitchen to see if the chef was getting dinner read and to my surprise he was already finished "yep everything's done Mrs. Beifong" he said while smiling "okay everyone will be down in about 15" I said with a nod.
After knocking on everyone's door to make sure they were almost ready I headed to the kitchen myself.

She was sitting at the table with her legs crossed and tapping her fingers on the table while staring at her shoes (please dont comment grandpa shoes I know😭) I went to go sit down next to where Huan sits.

As I heard a chair scoot out I looked to see y/n she was also wearing a black suit but with more bling "hey" I say looking back down at my shoe laces "oh hey Lin" she said it like she didn't notice me here "you're early for a first" I say breaking the awkward silence "oh well I didn't expect to be but I am" She says with an awkward smile "so what are you thinking about?" I ask her trying not to look in her direction "nothing at all just a black space" she says laughing under her breath.
Soon enough Suyin and everyone else had entered the dining room, the chef the introduced the food like it was human or whatever.
The whole dinner y/n was talking and laughing with Huan, opal, and bolin, Suyin was telling jokes to mom, Wing and Wei were fighting, Baatar and Baatar jr. were discussing new inventions, Korra and Asami were being all lovey dovey, Tenzin was arguing with Bumi for letting meelo make a mess, Kya was laughing with Pema at Tenzin, Ikki and Jinora were laughing with Kai and Mako, while I just sat alone not wanting to be bothered.
