Every dress they picked out was over the top and expensive "Guys, I'm not gonna lie but these are expensive" I say with hesitation "And that's why I'm a business woman and her dad is chief of the southern water tribe" Asami says with a smile while paying "yes I get that but I haven't even tried them on" I say looking at the bag of dresses "yes and that's why we're going to Asami's friends house" Korra says while leaning on the counter.
"Wait who's Asami's frie-" I start to say before they drag me out.

We arrived at a giant mansion that looked like a whole mall.

"Okay I'm confused are all your friends rich Asami?" I ask her while admiring the house "no, but Lin is" shes says giving me the bag with the dresses "wait Lin, your friend that's coming with us is Lin?!?" I asked her shocked and trying to walk at her speed.
"No, his mom is Lin" she said while rolling her eyes causing me to stop dead in my tracks before Korra pushed me "keep walking did your legs break down or something" she says while speed walking past me.
I knew Lin came from rich roots but I had no clue how rich we were talking, what really shocked me is that she had a kid, I scoffed "pssh lin, a kid" I didn't believe it one bit until a young man opened the door "O-M-S ASAMI, HII" he said giving Asami a hug then korra "oh, and you must be y/n they've told me so much about you especially my mom she won't stop talking about you" he said causing me to blush "oh she was talking about me?" I say scratching my neck "was it good things" I whispered fast-ly.
As we went inside they led me to a dressing room "okay when you're done changing come down stairs in each outfit" asami said while shutting the door.
🚨--------------KORRAS POV--------------🚨
Asami, Chang, and I all went downstairs waiting on y/n, "SERVANT 1" Chang screamed as Lin came from around the corner "I told you not to call me that" lin said while narrowing her eyes "well I can't call you servant 2 or 3 cause their right here" he said smiling "what do you want" she said rolling her eyes "Tea- wha- " he was cut off by y/n coming down the stairs in the white dress and Asami tapping him.
Everyone went off in a daze even Lin was about drooling "Okay, why are yall staring it there something on it" y/n said, "No, not at all you just look-" Asami said stopping to think of how to describe it.
"Spit it out!" y/n said being impatient "You look great" I said finishing Asami's sentence "meh, I dont like it" she said going back up the stairs leaving us to look at eachother confused "atleast it makes your ass look fat" Chang shouted earning a angered look from Lin "wheres our tea woman" he said.
🚨-----------------LINS POV-----------------🚨
I rolled my eyes and turnt around heading towards the kitchen to get that dunderhead son of mine some tea, "how did I end up with that kid, oh right, Kya" I thought to myself rolling my eyes.
*TIMESKIP*
After making the kids tea as I walk around the corner to hear y/n say "Drumroll please" as the kids started to pat their thighs in a rhythm like motion, y/n came out in a red dress which I assumed was the last one she saved for last, everything felt like it was in slow-mo.
The kids all jumped up smiling complementing y/n, I quickly put the tea down on the coffee table and went up stairs.
🚨-----------------Y/NS POV-----------------🚨
*AT KWONGS COUSINE*
We all took a seat towards the back of the table, "okay, but can we take a second to notice how Lins mouth dropped when y/n walked out" Asami said causing everyone to laugh "I wouldn't be surprised if she risked it all, shes a good looking kid" Chang said doing finger guns in my direction.
The servant came over and told us what was on the menu, I ordered Tum Yum Kung and finished it in less than 10 minutes.
